I think it is a shame they (the producers) seem to have gone mostly for 'influencers' and very minor celebs. Previous series have just had normal people and I yink they're lacking a bit here. That's what makes it more interesting and less completely superficial.

Blessed - I think Adam looks a bit like David Gandy. He's pretty to look at, but he's playing a game, going around getting all the girls to admit to fancying him. Far too much self-love!

First time I've watched, the picking thing is brutal especially when they leave the one they're with for someone else! And poor Alex the subs bench-bet he wanted to go home!

To be fair to Samira I think the “too pale” comment was an attempt to deflect a really awkward question from Caroline, i.e., “Why didn’t you step forward for Alex?”. The answer is obviously that she just didn’t find him in any way attractive but it’s got to be hard to be brutally honest when the person is standing right in front of you looking scundered because no one stepped forward. At least you can work on your tan- not so easy with your face/body/personality And at that stage he hadn’t told anyone his job so didn’t even have the Dr-cachet to trade on.

Don’t like Laura, that comment at the start about the friend’s fella was very telling. Also finding it difficult to believe she’s the same age as me, but according to the DM (don’t judge) there was a post on her instagram last year about her celebrating her 28th birthday. So if she’s lying she’s been playing the long game! I could see years of long haul flights, partying, lack of sleep and sun worshiping could take their toll so maybe she isn’t fibbing?

Yes Laura has very obviously sun damaged skin - she has that freckly appearance all over her face usually caused by sun beds.

The thing is, when you're naturally fair you just can't afford to do that to yourself.

I just also can't see the point of finding 5 women all who want the men to be tall, dark and handsome. Couldn't they have found at least 2 women who were happy with other types?! just seems utterly bizarre. At the end of the first programme, the women all seemed to have been portrayed as vacuous male grabbing and the men (apart from Adam) all seemed to be portrayed as a bit insecure!

No, of course some freckles are natural - they can look lovely. But I think Laura's look like sun damage.

I find it quite fascinating that she has zero hints of freckles with her make up on though, I don’t have many on my face but when I try to fully cover them I just look a bit dirty, I wonder what foundation she uses 🤔

Likewise her accent. Unless she has never modelled or spent any time at all outside Liverpool she is definitely exaggerating that accent.
