Derren Brown Now OMG!

He's on tour now but not coming to me this time...humph...his show was awesome!

We had front row seats and I fell in love!

WRT to the guy left in Mariqueche, they followed him and it was all explained to him afterwards, but Derren never does anything to someone who can't take it. Everyone on the shows goes through a good couple of months of psych testing to make sure they can handle it.

I'd really recommend his book if you're interested in how he does things, although I'm not convinced that it's all strictly true in the book and not just him putting readers off the scent

Can you imagine him working as a barrister? I bet he could convince juries to do anything!!

We saw him on tour before and he was great!
Going in June, and DH has said that if either of us get picked out to go up I can go as he's not going to try any tricks on an 8-month pregnant woman!

Have to say I've not enjoyed current TV series as mucj as previous - agree that while it's all very clever, it sometimes goes a bit far and feels uncomfortable. Having said that I also agree that I think he only does things that people can handle and that they are checked over afterwards to make sure there's no lasting damage. But like I said it sometimes makes uncomfortable viewing. Not seen the last one yet though....

On tv he seems to have an certain aura about him. Wonder if he does in real life.
