he co-writes a lot of the show with andrew o connor who was a cheesy magician in the 80s. he used to present a hilarious daytime game show when i was a student.

not sure about the rollerskates. remember when sandi toksvig used to open the show? i thought she was a comedy genius... she could just speak So Fast... Kate copstick was shite compared to her.

Harry had very big blond curly hair - he was one of the main ones as I remember, I'm sure of it, younger than Tommy boyd, more like a blond neil buchanan really but nicer

aaah, apparently o connor went to On The Waterfront on the BBC so wasn't at no 73 for long, according to wiki. don't think i remember that one.

I met Derren Brown a few times when I was at university. I have heard from a few different sources that he's gay. He's actually far less scary and creepy now than he used to be!

I do think he now takes his TV programmes abit too far. You hear stories of people that have been left completely traumatised by stage hypnosis. I watched one where a chap was in a photo booth, he was hynotised and when he came to he was still in the photo booth but had been flown to somewhere like New Delhi, all he had was his passport in his pocket and he had no idea on how he got there or why. He wandered around for a couple of days not knowing. Now the terror/confusion of that happening to an individual is not worth a TV show IMHO.

I think Derren brown is... it's hard to describe, but I'm strangely drawn to him. He has this voice.. if you listen to it it kind of invokes trust.

I emailed his website to set him a challenge.. see i believe that most of what he does is through suggestion, ie reading body language etc, so because I can't see I believe I am not suggestable iyswim. So I emailed to put myself forward as a guinea pig...

he declined the challenge...

But would love to go see him live and so would dh - when is he next on tour and where can I get tickets?

most of what it does is through suggestion and watching people's reactions to things. still don't know how he does it though.

last night's was so mean but she didn't seem that bothered when she awoke in the car.

shame he didn't pick you wannabe that would have been interesting!
