Well I've just watched and balled (bawled?) my eyes out

Heartbreaking

MrsJayy · 07/07/2018 13:46

It is bawled Smile I watched it again this morning i missed bits because I was bawling I think i am going to watch the bbc3 documentary

IslaMann · 07/07/2018 15:59

Only watched it earlier this afternoon. That was utterly heart wrenching. Fabulous acting from Bonnie and Zack, and so poignant with the real life families stories. I was sobbing.

SoupDragon · 07/07/2018 19:33

Just watched and I’m a blubbering mess :(

Keegan has gone from being a little shit to a great character acted brilliantly.

The80sweregreat · 07/07/2018 20:04

It was emotional. I lost my father in law yesterday - (he was very old, poorly etc) so I was a bit all over the place last night.
EE at its best ( for a change).

youarenotkiddingme · 07/07/2018 21:05

80s Thanks

SoupDragon · 07/07/2018 21:05
Flowers
iknowimcoming · 07/07/2018 21:17

Ah 80s, so sorry for your loss Thanks

MrsJayy · 07/07/2018 22:36

Aw no 80s sad loss for your family Flowers

The80sweregreat · 08/07/2018 08:25

Aww - thank you all. He was 91 and very ill. He wanted to die in the end.

The scenes on EE made me cry a lot more as young people shouldn’t be dying like this at all. They should all have long and happy lives thenselves and something should be done to stop it.
I’m glad the writers took advice on how to do this storyline - it worked I think,

SoupDragon · 08/07/2018 09:15

Whilst it was a bit odd, interspersing the real life parents made the point that this fictional funeral was very real for others. It wasn’t just a storyline in a soap.

MrsJayy · 08/07/2018 09:20

I liked the fiction/ reality of the episode some people over at digital spy hated it thought it spoiledit and one bright spark wondered why the RL families were ignored Hmm

The80sweregreat · 08/07/2018 12:41

It was very moving I thought. The parents speaking were brave to participate. They wouldn’t have done if they didn’t think it would help/ raise awareness.
I really hope that Max doesn’t get Baby Abi. What Donna said about Rainie was true.

MrsJayy · 08/07/2018 13:48

Raine is a nutcase but I like her

HalleLouja · 08/07/2018 20:44

I made myself watch the Real Stories shows they did. Very powerful. Just completely heartbreaking.

If Bonnie gets an award so should the actor who plays Keegan. He’s done an amazing job. The bit where he was telling the story about the maths exam. Made me laugh even though I was I tears most if the episode. He was great.

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/07/2018 13:44

Just seen Fri. Been a manic weekend

An interesting slant from EE involving true stories - I think it worked

@80’s sorry about fil x

I did think Carmel banning people was a bit ott. Her son but other people’s friends etc - glad they went

For me I had to have and go to my husbands funeral. I needed to say goodbye and to have that closure if that makes sense

But everyone is different and till that moment happens you don’t know how you will react

Just saw fridays too very very well done. Merited the reality of story line with it being in London. Kegeen is fantastic hope they give more story lines. Shows up all rubbish actors though.

southeastdweller · 09/07/2018 20:57

Was it on tonight? I can't see the episode on iPlayer.

Akire · 09/07/2018 22:02

MrsJayy · 10/07/2018 14:52

Stuart really scares me I shudder everytime he is on screen Blush that menacing threat to Linda would have be running screaming !

MrsJayy · 10/07/2018 14:55

Cora has obviously come to tempt Raine away with the smell of baby Abi. Why can't raine have children I got distracted when she was in the caff with phill

iknowimcoming · 10/07/2018 18:49

Agree Mrsjayy - it made feel very anxious watching her in the cellar with Stuart. Rainie said she can't have kids because she's damaged her insides through all the drug use. I'm looking forward to seeing what Cora's got planned - I like her. The max and Ian stuff though? Really? Are they supposed to be like laurel and hardy because it's just dire Hmm
