They only mentioned her leaving him in this episode

Slartybartfast · 17/05/2018 22:00

Fgs

dingit · 17/05/2018 22:01

Well that was.. rubbish 🙄

Slartybartfast · 17/05/2018 22:02

Full of holes 😡

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/05/2018 22:06

troodiedoo · 17/05/2018 22:12

Well at least it's over now and we can all move on Grin

JaneJeffer · 17/05/2018 22:17

The end was disappointing. The brother had managed to hide his involvement all this time but then he had to tell the cop to stay away because that wasn't suspicious at all Hmm

CoolCarrie · 17/05/2018 22:23

Please can anyone tell me Who was the murderer?

Peterrabbitscarrots · 17/05/2018 22:28

The brother - Phil Collins

HaroldsSocalledBluetits · 17/05/2018 22:28

I don't know why I keep on watching ITV dramas - they're always shit. This, that other pile of dreck that even John Simm couldn't save, the laughable Marcella...

This one not only was completely unbelievable but also did the thing I hate most in bad detective dramas ie suddenly crowbar someone into the frame with absolutely no lead up to it at all and call it a plot twist. That's not how it works, you plums.

CoolCarrie · 17/05/2018 22:51

Thank you Peter!

Middleoftheroad · 17/05/2018 23:04

It was in the news yesterday and even though I didn't read the spoilers, they had a pic of killer, which ruined it.

MinorRSole · 17/05/2018 23:15

Oh well @Dustysparrow was right. Usual hurried ending though, I always feel cheated watching these things

PrincessScarlett · 17/05/2018 23:27

I quite enjoyed this and am happy with the ending compared to the crap endings of Liar, Marcella and Doctor Foster to name a few.

eloisesparkle · 17/05/2018 23:39

I thought it was good. Well done to whoever first posted that it was the brother.
Much better than Broadchurch.

eloisesparkle · 18/05/2018 07:14

DustySparrow was the poster who predicted it correctly first. Thanks

troodiedoo · 18/05/2018 08:33

I wonder if it was originally meant to be more episodes and has been heavily edited like that maternity leave one Hmm

Dustysparrow · 18/05/2018 09:12

This is because I have binge-watched Poirot and Marple and have fine tuned my villain spotting skills Grin

CheeseTheDay · 18/05/2018 10:00

The ending seemed very rushed.

I'm assuming from the ending, David, Jack, Rosie, Alice, and Rob are all going to live together as one 'happy' family in the big house?! Not sure I'd be so forgiving of the SIL, but I guess David wanted to put Jack and Rosie first.

HaroldsSocalledBluetits · 18/05/2018 12:26

Yeah, I wonder how that conversation went.

"HIYA! I know that you thought I was a murderer, and I thought you were a murderer, but I've decided to move in to my house - I mean your house, with my kids - I mean your kids, I mean well the kids anyway. You're their dad, and I'm their dad, and it's all just GREAT. Tea, anyone? I'll just unpack."

Clawdy · 18/05/2018 23:00

At least there was an ending, with everything neatly tied up. Get so sick of cliff hanger endings!

eloisesparkle · 19/05/2018 08:21

I agree Clawdy
