I'm starting a thread for those of us watching Season 2 and who want to discuss ahead of its screening in the UK.

So far I've watched the first 3 episodes.

God the 1st episode was grim.

What website/channel are the people in the U.K. watching this on in advance of Channel 4? I want to see how I look on camera tonight

With the 'the Commander tries to make amends with Offred' thing, are they saying that that creepy 'treat' thing where he puts her in the car and she flinches away - is it meant to be a real treat of some kind? Does Gilead even have treats? Spa day? Shopping?!

Hmm. I highly doubt that. Either he did something so awful to her that he's afraid she'll shop him - or it's just another sinister horrible form of torture coming up. As if having your baby ripped away from you by the man and woman who rape you, enslave you and occasionally randomly beat you up isn't enough.

5 more hours (US Hulu episode drop). Can't decide what to do!!!!

I'll probably end up watching it in the morning unless DH and DS go to bed early. Evenings/nights here are so noisy and hectic and it's a show that needs to be watched in silence. In the morning I can watch it in the bedroom after everyone's off doing whatever they're going to do.

It comes out 5pm Thursday AU time here. But i’m off work sick today so might have to try and find a way to watch it!

I thought season 2 was 10 episodes, but Wikipedia says it is 13 episodes Is it 10 or 13?!?

Episode 10 is on watch series now, baby is napping so hopefully going to sit down and watch with a cuppa I want to see it but am also dreading it.

Please, writers, don't heap too much horror on poor June. She represents the resilience we all hope we would have in such terrible circumstances. Even she can only take so much. Don't stretch our acceptance to even lower lows of far-fetched, deliberate cruelty. Don't take Nick from her as well as her daughter and her baby, after a rape that vile.
