A bit like the house swap last year with rich and poor families

Tho this time just the rich kids swap

They spend time with a poorer family

E1 23yr Fergus from Chelsea spends the weekend with ANNA mum of 4 who lives in Croydon

Or the mum Could have for an evening job /shifts so both working and no childcare costs

But if they are entitled to some extra benefits then Hope hey get them

Always wonder if people on shows ever read about theirselves on threads like this

Last weeks e6 with ALEX was good

He got a full roast and extras and money left over - as didn’t go to to corner shop

ALEX was a lovely man and nice parents

Unusual to see the rich parents

Yes he went to Bolton market which is very good value I dentist of my meat from there!

The family in Bolton were lovely as was Alex but I was surprised how much branded food they had. It would be so much cheaper to buy supermarket own brands. And I was surprised thry didn't factor in tax credits etc. I would hope the show includes someone to advise families on benefit entitlements if they are currently not claiming everything they should be

Well the also didn't factor in child benefit with makes me suspect 're program makers are not being entirely truthful about the families' finances !

Agreed. They would be in receipt of at least an extra £84 per week.

If I was Alexes parents I would be very very proud. He was lovely and fantastic with their little boy too

Yes Alex was lovely but it does annoy me when they are not truthful , absolutely agree they would be getting the benefits they are entitled too but don't make out families are just getting one wage when they also get tax credits etc it still wouldn't be loads of money but at least £400/500 more .

It's absolutely true though. The extra £400 or so makes a real difference between being in poverty or not. It's similar to the rich house poor house programme. Some of the poor families did not appear poor at all.

Not seen it yet, I don't believe for one minute they don't know about tax credits ,having watched these type of programmes before I think the programme makers are very economical with the truth when it comes to finances .

Just watching Navid 😳. The amount he spends on Versace!!! That gold track suit 😳. Nice enough lad but so out of touch with everyday life .... 40 holidays a year, he can’t spend much time being a pharmacist can he!

It is sad that two parents work opposite ends or all eeek and other weekend so no childcare costs yet still struggle

Wonder if moving would have helped

And the couple could save money by using normal cows milk instead of buying £10+ tubs of aptimil plus milk

Did anyone watch tonight? The woman from Stafford who was a single mother to a 16 year old son, she swapped with a lovely girl, she is the best richest kid that I’ve ever seen on the show, very down to earth.

What I didn’t understand about this show was why Leah, I think the single mothers name was, has all these jobs yet has to eat eggs and beans for tea and she only has one child, and said child works f/t so pocket money or anything for him, she was a fitness instructor (didn’t look like it though, bitchy maybe but very true) a model, worked in a children’s care home, Receptionist, etc, etc, and yet she seemed to have less cash than anyone on this show! Her bedroom was bare apart from a bed and like a PP said then I think there’s a bit of lying going on with the producers of show, none of it made sense to me.
