Help! The thread ran out on me!

Was that Daniels thinking face ?

redshoeblueshoe · 26/03/2018 14:13

The child can't get surgery anywhere in the world at 16

redshoeblueshoe · 26/03/2018 14:15

I think Mrs T was being nasty today

redshoeblueshoe · 26/03/2018 14:19

And the mum said the child was on hormone blockers, then she said she'd have to go to the US for them. When actually they would get them here on the NHS

redshoeblueshoe · 26/03/2018 14:22

Daniel has only known the child for 5 minutes and mum wants him to go to court. Daniel is arrogant enough to do this, even though he doesn't know the child

bellabelly · 26/03/2018 14:41

Watching on the iplayer. Today's episode is like a perfect storm of mumsnet threads.

FuzzyCustard · 26/03/2018 16:04

I missed it today and on reading your catch up thread all I can think is "thank goodness".
You're all making the circus workshop sound like great telly.

cinnamongreyhound · 26/03/2018 17:00

I’ve been so terrible at keeping up!! Had a horrible couple of weeks!
Anyway, anyone else thinking that Daniel is going to help Joanie’s Mum and it’s going to turn out that the Dad is right and Mum is pressurising her?

cinnamongreyhound · 26/03/2018 17:01

Mum was in casualty Redshoeblueshoe

Raahh · 26/03/2018 17:33

I missed today's as dh is off/on holiday/working from home/not feeling well/annoying me. A combination of them all really. He had several days holiday left to take before the end of this week, so decided to take some now. Which means being at home and deciding to want to go out and do stuff . Grin

I will try to catch up later.

It sounds, from your comments ,interesting. Grin

I am now trying to think what Drs would be like if they really pulled plots from MN....

A transgendered person (irrelevant to the plot but very current) has real issues with their MIL who appears to be an interfering old bat. Indeed she is so old (ie over 55) that she needs a medical certificate to allow her to a) drive and b) go out of the house. She once forgot to make a cup of coffee and now the Drs are worried she had dementia and must make a home visit daily. Meantime, she has been seen going to a C of E church and is therefore deemed totally batty.

In another consultation the patient doesn' t seem to be making any effort with her appearance, and refuses to be called Mrs Husbandsname. She needs further investigation.

And the last patient of the day is a man, so is summarily chased out of the surgery.

FuzzyCustard · 26/03/2018 18:14

cinnamon I hope your mum is ok. Flowers

cinnamon sorry to hear you've had a horrible time of late. But I think you meant that today's Potd mum was in Casualty (and not your own mum at A & E)
Redshoe the juxtaposition of thread placement might have confused you about cinnamon's mum.

toldmywrath · 26/03/2018 22:54

Subtitles is that Emma in the morning photo? On my phone and dodgy eyesight!

toldmywrath · 26/03/2018 22:56

Where did "morning" come from?! ^ my phone has a mind of its own.Grin

toldmywrath · 26/03/2018 22:57

Extremely poor acting from those two blokes today. Plus how can Sid be so sure that the swallowing issue is nothing to be concerned with?

cinnamongreyhound · 27/03/2018 07:55

Yes you’re right toldmywrath, I mean the Mum from today Fuzzycustard, I was answering redshiebuleshoe front the previous page. I have actually been to hospital every day for just over 2 weeks as my stepdad as been in icu since mother’s day with pneumonia.

Raahh · 27/03/2018 09:18
