I’m having surgery next week and have a week of laying on my sofa once I get home. (School runs, house, work, all taken care of! Is it wrong I’m looking forward to this?) just me, the dog, some chocolate and a blanket.

I’ve recently watched the crown, private practice, and all of Ru Paul’s drag race.

My DH says the issue is, we used to watch so many boxsets there’s nothing left. But there must be!

I am so envious, I’m a very lighthearted way. I fantasise about which bone I could break to cause me the least amount of long term problems, but the most recuperation and healing time.

Definitely The Good Wife. The Good Fight (spin-off/follow-up) too, although that's ongoing; think there's only been one series so far.

The Legacy is a good and gripping Scandi series, three seasons; family drama rather than noir.

Babylon Berlin: only two seasons but very good, quite violent and brutal at times but with some humour and dark glittering Weimar glamour.

Outside of drama, how about Queer Eye? (I think that's what it's called now). Used to be Queer Eye for the Straight Guy – a bunch of gay men overhauled a straight man's clothes, flat etc to get him fit for dating. Think the idea this time round is they've dropped the dating angle and it's just a life overhaul.
