Can I join in? Haven't watched BB for about 10 years but followed Courtney on Drag Race and have loved her ever since so I had to see her go in and have become hooked.

Totally not surprised that she's tipped to win. She (mostly) kept her classy demeanour up all the way through Drag Race and Single AF which must take some serious control not to mention being 'the classy one' when she's on tour with the AAA Girls.

Of course Blather I'm back after 10 years too ☺

I think the show is 1 hour 35 tonight from 9pm, and that nominations will be given live. In previous series they have a slate to write their nomination down before presenting it, so that prevents a change of mind.

I would like to see Dapper/ Daniel go, but he hasn't really shown his true colours much to the women, so he might not get nominated.

Mimpi I was thinking the same re: the best of intentions possibly not actually being helpful in saying to IW "yes I truly feel that you are a woman just like any other" because she knows it's not true and that can't be helpful for trying to get a handle on the dysphoria. Obviously HM are not real friends so can't say anything other than they are. I feel sorry for her, having gone through that surgery and looking at a life of medication that will never cure her... but that doesn't take away from the fact that, dysphoria aside, she's bloody annoying, which makes for good telly!

I would have been much more surprised if he were saying the opposite tbh. I doubt Andrew would challenge it... I think the only people who would would be "bigoted Ann" or "ignorant Dappy" maybe.

Yes mixed feelings about Andrew, he’s a bit two-faced - happy to sit with the lads and banter about who he wants to shag but then he’s all chummy and puts on his nice boy act with the women and I think they would be shocked to hear the way he talks with Daniel.
It was a shame IW shut down Andrew’s explanation of why he wanted to dress in drag, about how he was exploring a different side to himself and how as a man he doesn’t always want to be butch, I thought it was a positive thing to hear that from a young guy. But IW didn’t want to listen to his point of view at all. You have thought that IW would have been more open to it, I found IW’s reaction quite strange. It’s like no-one else is allowed to have views on gender and what it means to be male/female.

I must live in a very sheltered life. I have never personally witnessed male privilege. My husband and sons are top notch. I work with males who are nice and we have a laugh, bawdy humour as well . Am I alone in this ?

What did Andrew actually say when he was smoking with "the lads"? I thought he had said that Jess's colouring, eyes, figure, "booty", etc. were what he'd choose in his ideal woman? Dapper is the one who has used the vile terminology and the "I didn't notice the eyes" phrases.

Do you really think the women would be surprised to hear Andrew say that? He got fired from the apprentice for being "too laddy" and he's obviously working on that, at times more successfully than others, but I'm surprised any one would be surprised to hear a bloke in his 20s say what he did when sitting with "the lads".

From working in pubs and bars in a variety of locations where you have groups of lads sitting together and you hear their conversation, I would say what Andrew said is fairly typical even though they would not talk like that in other company/scenarios. Even the nice ones.

Dapper, though, is vile.

I think Courtney talking nonsense about women having dicks, will affect his chances of winning. He was my favourite up until that point. IW will have pushed so many to peak trans and they will be looking at him now and thinking 'oh dear, not you too'.
