Haven’t watched BB in years but this series has me hooked!
Really like Courtney/Shane - he seems self-aware and relaxed with himself, his story about coming out about being gay/bisexual and a drag artist was quite touching. He is obviously someone who knows there are different aspects to his personality and has embraced it. He seems to laugh and smile a lot which shows he’s someone happy in himself - it’s often people who are unhappy in themselves who are the most critical of others (like India).
I thought how Courtney/Shane dealt with Ann was great - she is someone who annoys a lot of people but he didn’t go in all guns blazing to have a big row, he discussed with her calmly and respectfully, which is much more likely to have an impact on her.
Dapper Laughs guy is awful - the way he talks about women -
The Vicar last night was awesome! I am not religious at all but she came across really well and made some good points without seeming at all bitchy.

Just watched last night's show, I loved Andrew talking about how he wanted to break the gender boundaries, and the idea that there is only one way to be a man. We need more men to think like that. Of course India couldn't stand it not being about India.

Malika and Courtney/Shane are great too.

I agree Dapper is AWFUL. Crude, unfunny and so, so desperate to regain his former popularity. He tries hard to be PC and right-on but his inner misogynist keeps breaking through. He's not even very good at being one of the lads. I think a future working in a call centre awaits.

Does Johnny do anything other than laugh along when Danny (Dapper, is it, I have no idea who he is and no desire to find out) is being revolting in the smoking area?

Andrew needs to give up smoking and/or stay away from Danny/Johnny - his breaking gender boundaries speech was great, please don't let him enforce those same boundaries by letting D/J push him into saying which of the women he'd like to fuck

I like pretty much everyone else, IW excepted obviously.

I usually complain about CBB contestants getting outside information (I'm sure some of the more prominent/higher paid ones get daily updates as to how they are being perceived) but I hope this year someone is telling them that they aren't being seen as transphobic, and that their behaviour is ok. I don't want to see them all change track and pander to IW for fear of accusations of bullying.

On the other hand Maryz it would be extremely interesting to see how the housemates continue to be naturally if they aren’t told what the general public opinion is of IW/transphobia.

A bit like MN, in the days where you could call a twat a twat without being deleted for being a “bully”, the fact that it’s frustrating to see them tiptoeing around IW in case they’re seen as being transphobic is eye opening in itself.

Do we think Shane will take up Annes challenge to make Courtney look like a Lady?

I hope India is kept in, because he's bound to be stressing the bullying TRA, to bits. Does anyone think that the reality of how he has mutilated his body, only to realise he didn't have to, will hit him, if he stays in? He can't escape the conversations regarding how a man should be himself, wear makeup, dresses, present how he pleases. The wonderful Shane is showing him how it can be done and Andrew talking about 'gender' boundaries.

The more he screams that he's a woman, the less the others are pandering to him. You can see in their eyes they don't believe that he's a woman, no matter what they're telling him. If any other man went on and on about the fact that someone wouldn't sleep with him, he'd be warned by BB or even put out. It's just bloody seedy.

Am now catching up on the whole series from the start.... India is an arse, whether you can India him or her.

I am a bit in love with Rachel Johnson. She's ace. And I like Malika too.

Whoever is up for eviction, the crowd will be yelling 'Get India out!'. The penny will drop for the HMs then.

IW is so clearly someone with many complex psychological issues that it’s astonishing IW was ever considered psychologically strong enough to enter the BB house. It is such uncomfortable viewing.

A huge part of me wonders though whether IW has been a real headache for channel 5 as, having appointed IW as a newsreader, they cannot get rid of IW without the transphobic card being played. Without this exposure on CBB, the public may well have been on IW’s side, not being aware of what a gigantic pain in the neck IW is.

Imagine having to work with IW?

If they play loud music to try to drown out any chanting, do you think they'll twig as to why?

I love Malika, but I think that, when it comes to the public vote the TRAs will bombard the lines with votes to get her out. She's to clued in and giving the others the courage to be truthful about India.

Or they'll vote India out because he's a liability.

I'm sure the entire C5 newsroom will be voting to keep India in for as long as possible.

If it was vote to evict India would be out by a massive vote.

I sort of suspect Channel 5 might take IW out quietly rather than face a shitstorm eviction. Out of a sense of duty of care.

That's a really good point about channel 5 being stuck with him, Royal. He must have been hired by channel 5 news as the token trans, as I can't see how he even got through the interview process. He comes across as thick.

There was no way they would have been able to keep him out of the BB house, without screams of transphobe. He's become an absolute liability and hell slap it up the prat that hired him.
