Celeb Big Bro Thread 2 - Courtney's audition for the Bucks Fizz tribute act wasn't quite what they were looking for...

Yes, I know it is a shock to discover CBB celebrities famous for something other than being on other reality shows, but there are some in the house this year! It is a miracle!

Still no shopping lists, decent long-lasting tasks and lack of BB interference but we can't have everything can we?

PWBs - pull up a chair (from your favourite Oak furniture dealer), grab your snacks and get stuck in!

Love Courtney.
Andrew coming across well
John is a nice , laid back guy

I think we will definitely have a male winner this year ?

Chipstick10 · 07/01/2018 21:59

Hope that dapper arse is the first out

Dowser · 07/01/2018 22:00

Shame so different when he hasn’t got his persona on
Quieter, much less brash and out there
Very interesting watching him
But I do hope he brings Courtney back

AnneEyhtMeyer · 07/01/2018 22:00

I think it is right to pull people up on bad behaviour. It is totally wrong to inflict real pain for entertainment. It is not wrong to point this out to people who really should be ashamed of themselves for not realising this all by themselves.

That is the weirdest facial I've ever seen! That blonde girl took it well though. (No idea what she is called)

Haggisfish · 07/01/2018 22:00

I thought that was a very interesting exchange.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 07/01/2018 22:00

Is it's more socially acceptable to say "queer" in Australia?

BeyondWW · 07/01/2018 22:01

Hell, at least while India thinks Maggie is spying on him, he isn’t wanging on about being trans

Dowser · 07/01/2018 22:01

Tomorrow

LizzieSiddal · 07/01/2018 22:01

I agree dapper needs to be kicked out first.

HellToupee · 07/01/2018 22:01

Don’t agree with Anne’s views at all but find her conviction and well thought through thoughts admirable.

Fab that she and Shane could have a civilised conversation about their very differing views without either of them stomping off in a huff. You know, like normal people!

areyoubeingserviced · 07/01/2018 22:02

Agree Sole- CBB and BB have been crap for a few years. However,I am really enjoying this series.

Haggisfish · 07/01/2018 22:02

I respect the way both Anne and Shane spoke to each other and discussed that issue. Even though they had differing points of view, they managed to exchange them civilly, and Anne deftly changed the subject!

BeyondWW · 07/01/2018 22:02

I think it’s used negatively even more in Oz than it is here! So I wouldn’t think so...

Alwaysinmyheart · 07/01/2018 22:02

But isn't the whole concept of BB about inflicting pain on pp??

guardianfree · 07/01/2018 22:02

Ann has a very rigid moral code - very old fashioned - reminds me of elderly relatives now long gone.
I note that Rachel set her up quite deliberately (again).

Haggisfish · 07/01/2018 22:03

Queer is accepted over here but I think it may have a slightly different interpretation.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 07/01/2018 22:03

Yes Haggis, they were behaving like adults, which is unusual in the BB house.

IhaveChillyToes · 07/01/2018 22:03

I think what Ann said was fine

She said if 2 people of whatever relationship love each other and want to live together then that is fine and she is happy for them SmileSmileSmile

But just not to call it marriage - biggins says same thing he has civil partner but doesn't agree with marriage between them both (his male partner btw)

QueenLaBeefah · 07/01/2018 22:03

Rachel is such a snake.

SoleBizzz · 07/01/2018 22:04

CBB 9PM - 10pm tomorrow, BOTS 11.O5pm - 00.05am

Alwaysinmyheart · 07/01/2018 22:04

Tbh if I was in an enclosed space with AW I'd be doing my best to quiz her about her fucking abhorrent views!

Haggisfish · 07/01/2018 22:04

Queer – in the past a derogatory term for LGBT individuals. The term has now been reclaimed by LGBT young people in particular who don’t identify with traditional categories around gender identity and sexual orientation but is still viewed to be derogatory by some. From stonewall

AnneEyhtMeyer · 07/01/2018 22:04

I really hope it is vote to evict and Dapper is up.

BeyondWW · 07/01/2018 22:05

I’d have a civil partnership with DH if it were possible. I don’t like the idea of marriage, full stop.
