There is a lady called Nicola iirc who is a regular in the audience on The Wright stuff who is trans (no idea if she has had the operation or not) but anyway she comes across as a really lovely person with very sensible viewpoints. Think IW could learn allot from someone like Nicola who probably has always been a lovely person before becoming Nicola.

Perhaps that is really the problem Jonathan turning into India didn't actually change the fact that Jonathan was maybe a really horrible person to start with

Another lurker de-lurking! I was so angry at first that IW had been put in, surely there were enough representatives of women to find 8 before moving on to trans women?
I’m guessing since IW is a channel 5 employee, they refused to go in with the males, as clearly doesn’t see them self that way.
Anyway, the more it shows of IW the more my anger subsides, I can’t imagine anyone with an ounce of sense agreeing with the stance IW takes. IW has only delivered a disservice to the extreme trans movement in my view. Courtney/Shane on the other hand....a mumsnetter?!? Love him!
Courtney to win for me. Show that the vast majority of people have no issues with trans, gay, drag or anything else, when measured reasonable and respectful to all. IW is none of those things . And it would piss on IWs chips to not be able to call out the public when out of the house as it will be clear it is only the bad attitude and horrendous personality that caused it, nothing to do with gender or sex.

I'm surprised people are seeing malice in Rachel. I think she looks like someone who isn't particularly interested in drama and like most people, do. She gave IW a hug because IW was upset. She was sent like to see someone upset. She probably encouraged IW to talk about stuff tomorrow instead of then because she could see IW was drunk, over-wrought and likely to make things worse for themselves if they launched into more ranting at that point.

For someone who tries so hard to be a woman, and tell everyone she is a woman, IW has the worst of the 'stereotypical male' traits. She is arrogant, patronising and aggressive in her manner. She is also very good at mansplaining. Dappa and Johnny discussing the women in derogatory terms is no different to her harassing Genuine because he didn't fancy her.
I have no issue with LBGT and if she wishes to be a woman then that is her choice. She needs to know that there is more to being a woman than pert Boobs and long hair ...

I was on here a few nights ago sticking up for IW. Whilst I still maintain my stance that some of the anti-IW comments on here are for me personally, a bit uncomfortable, I have to say I really increasingly don't like her. She is being a complete douche. But I still don't think that necessarily has anything to do with her background living as a man, I suspect it's just that she's very socially lacking and perhaps a bit dim and potentially incredibly hormonal because of all the treatment.

I agree with a pp that maybe Rachel was just being nice rather than fake or manipulative.
