I love this programme, so funny.

BigSandyBalls2015 · 06/02/2018 08:00

Caught up with this on the train home last night, very funny. Love Michelle, there's always at least one gobby girl like that in a group. Reminded me of one of my DDs friends, they agreed Grin.

Loved the nun head teacher - I went to a convent school and it brought back a lot of memories.

"I understand how stressful resitting exams can be so please, please ....... do not come running crying to me" Grin

'They've been playing the same three songs since 1795, what do they need to rehearse for?'

I was PMSL at that too Grin.

treaclesoda · 06/02/2018 15:55

'your Granda said fanny!!'

That cracked me up.

MrsJayy · 06/02/2018 16:17

We rewound your granda said fanny twice so we could snigger again 😂

DMCWelshCakes · 07/02/2018 16:41

Laughed my ass off. I'm the right age, but Welsh. Loving the sound track too.

Agerbilatemycardigan · 07/02/2018 16:43

Not seen this yet, but as half-term is looming, may have to binge watch it with beer and snacks.

BlindLemonAlley · 07/02/2018 19:49

Best show on tv, have to watch it again just so I don’t miss anything.

ThomasShelbysBunnet · 07/02/2018 19:54

This programme is bloody brilliant. I was of the same age mid nineties and it just makes me laugh. Also, 'there's a provo in the boot' Grin
Looking forward to tomorrow's episode.

CandyYumYum · 07/02/2018 19:56

Love this show. As a former 1990s Irish convent school attendee so much of it seems so familiar!

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 08/02/2018 22:02

Last episode tonight! Looking forward to it. Sad it’s ending though! I want more!

CandyYumYum · 08/02/2018 22:03

There's going to be a second series.

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 08/02/2018 22:16

Oh I know that, but it’s not here yet.

I’m not feeling this episode at all!! Is it just me?

ReggaetonLente · 08/02/2018 22:30

I’m enjoying the talent show

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 08/02/2018 22:31

That was quite... odd.

Youcanstayundermyumbrella · 08/02/2018 22:33

I thought that was a really powerful ending.

CandyYumYum · 08/02/2018 22:35

I found the ending quite moving. Carefree girls jumping around to Like A Prayer while the family watched the news of the bombing.

WitchSharkadder · 08/02/2018 22:36

I loved that episode. The end made me cry and laugh and feel nostalgic all at the same time. Really beautiful.

BubbaLips · 08/02/2018 22:37

can someone explain that ending for me please

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 08/02/2018 22:38

It was news reporting the Omagh bombing bubba

CandyYumYum · 08/02/2018 22:40

Well it was a nod to the reality of life in NI in the 1990s. Normal people living normal lives but from time to time interspersed with tragedy. I think the fact the political side of life in NI was only referred to in an offhand and jokey way throughout the series made the last couple of minutes feel all the more poignant.
