So the Strictly glitter has settled for another year but to fill the void we have the new series of DOI starting this Sunday at 6pm on ITV1.

Our presenters will be Phil & Holly and our judges are Jason Gardiner (he's the Craig!), Torvill and Dean, and Ashley Banjo (from Diversity).

There are 12 brave stars taking to the ice this year. ’Coronation Street’ actors Anthony Cotton and Brooke Vincent lead the way, alongside ‘Hollyoaks’ star Stephanie Waring, Good Morning Britain’s weather presenter Alex Beresford, Love Islander Kem Cetinay, former ‘Great British Bake Off’ champ Candice Brown, singer Lemar, rugby player Max Evans, former ‘X Factor’ contestant Jake Quickenden, Olympian Perri Shakes-Drayton, presenter Donna Air and Bucks Fizz member Cheryl Baker.

There has already been injury - Lemar has replaced cricketer Monty Panesar who literally crashed out with a broken ankle...ouch!

So come and join us...there will be dancing , there will be ice and there will be thread mascots

What happened to Robin Cousins? I liked him.

Likely not available. He probably has a job commentating for the Olympics in 4 weeks

Agreeing with you fuzzy re the boots.

They look heavy, creme. Quite cumbersome when lifting and hard to control when being lifted (as in making legs considerably heavier)

I think Candice was relieved just to get through that.

Antony was definitely the better skater, but I actually enjoyed Candice's routine more. I take back what I said too, I didn't find her annoying.

It was interesting to hear AC say he was doing the show for his friend because I heard him interviewed and he didn't hesitate to say he was doing it for the money.

Oh and I don't like the voiceover guy much either

Ah yes Lunde. He definitely brought a touch of class to the show.

They are cumbersome and hard to point your foot when wearing them, not to mention how sharp they are !

Saying that I really like Ashley Banjo, and his brother.

Well, I liked Candice, Queen of Lipsticks, on Bake Off, but she's already getting on my mammary glands on this!

I didn't see the unacceptable "pulling down the top" incident (must have been when I was making a toastie) but if it's as bad as it sounds I will want to smack AC,

AC was very irritating but to be fair, he didn't say he was doing it for his friend, just that he was one of the first people he told about it and his wife was there tonight

Voice over blokes voice isn't 'voiceovery' enough .
