Dancing On Ice is back! Time to get your skates on #1

So the Strictly glitter has settled for another year but to fill the void we have the new series of DOI starting this Sunday at 6pm on ITV1.

Our presenters will be Phil & Holly and our judges are Jason Gardiner (he's the Craig!), Torvill and Dean, and Ashley Banjo (from Diversity).

There are 12 brave stars taking to the ice this year. ’Coronation Street’ actors Anthony Cotton and Brooke Vincent lead the way, alongside ‘Hollyoaks’ star Stephanie Waring, Good Morning Britain’s weather presenter Alex Beresford, Love Islander Kem Cetinay, former ‘Great British Bake Off’ champ Candice Brown, singer Lemar, rugby player Max Evans, former ‘X Factor’ contestant Jake Quickenden, Olympian Perri Shakes-Drayton, presenter Donna Air and Bucks Fizz member Cheryl Baker.

There has already been injury - Lemar has replaced cricketer Monty Panesar who literally crashed out with a broken ankle...ouch!

So come and join us...there will be dancing , there will be ice and there will be thread mascots

I don't understand what the commentator is on about half the time.

I think her low scores were a little harsh

I don't agree with the scores , she might have stumbled but her technique was better.

I held my breath through that, thought she would go flying on her arse

I think those scores were harsh, she did trip but her skating was technically good. I'd put her better than Antony and Candice who received similar scores.

The commentator is annoying tonight though, someone needs to turn his mic off!
There all doing better than me though, I went ice skating once and spent 30mins just clinging to the bloody side 😂😂

The tone of the commentators voice sounds like he's commentating the horse racing not doi !

If the mascots were taking part, this would be a million times better,

I’ll be watching this later, a 6pm start is the worst time for me to sit down and watch anything on a Sunday, gets in the way of my roast/bathing kids/clearing up/packed lunches etc, I’m quite cross about the timing!
Sounds like a bit of a boring start but it’s okay as I can fast forward through the ad breaks at least.
I have never watched strictly, I find dancing really boring, plus Tess Daly is possibly the most grating person on tv. It’s the danger element of DOI that I like!

It just looked weird, daily. It was a joke in response to the ‘sylvain used to fuck everyone’ post down below. I’m sure they aren’t having it away. He just looked very odd.

Fuzzy Love Island was everywhere around June/July. It was on ITV2 and consisted of a bunch of false-tanned, plastic-surgeried people falling in love on an island, as far as I know. I detest it. With my whole being.
