The way she gazed after Mikey with a pained expression was quite telling I thought. There’s something child related lurking in her closet.

I read her pained expression at Mikey to be suppressing the urge to give him a verbal slap, Soup. My hand was itching! But I'm sure your reading of the scene is more sensitive than mine ...

Mikey was so irritating in this episode, made me cringe at how the character is being developed.

Evie is the sensible eldest, keeping everyone sane. She'll get pregnant at 17 to a wrong 'un because she see's the good in every one and end up back at Fletch's within 6 months

Mikey was indeed a little shit but CEO gave him a somewhat indulgent look after her first encounter which surprised me. Almost like she admired his loyalty and bravado. I kind of admired his loyalty but thought him a brat!

Regarding Mikey - do children his age really talk to adults the way he does....especially the way he talks to his dad?! Seemed a bit silly abc unbelievable.

Did anyone else think HH’s hair looked a little bit odd? It looked like he’d been rubbing a balloon on his head and all the static was making his hair stand on end It was nice to see him though.

Exactly - he’s got Meena wrapped round his little finger which I’m pretty sure he knows!! Meena is infatuated with him which men like him can sense and take advantage of so why he felt he needed Nicky to help ‘fix’ things and pay £12k for it just doesn’t make sense?!

Were his parents very astute in investing his childhood earnings, resulting in him now being very wealthy and able to do random acts of kindness on a big scale? (Or perhaps not ...)

That must be it cos he doesn't seem to need to flatshare and all that like the rest of holby staff.

Re duvet - i'm assuming given here mortally called and paid it ask that he's very very rich, either from telly or family money so its not a big as deal for him as Garrett.

Either things haven't always been that way, he remembers the bailiffs coming to the door as his mother sobbed etc and it is a genuine nice act, there will be some big scene where it turns out he's really vulnerable and nice and its all an act (I do sense some insecure vulnerability)

When there was the flashback to Duvet buying Nicky a drink in the bar then they showed her throwing up DH immediately said she's probably pregnant to him! We still don't really see the relevance of that flashback

I think Duvet and Nicky are going to end up as a couple. There is definitely a spark between them, although they've yet to see it...

Not a fan of new CEO. However, I do like Duval, there’s something about him that makes me love to hate him. But definitely, Nicky and him will somehow get together and break the girls’ ‘friendship’. Nicky is already starting to resent Meena

I thought the Duvet money thing was related to him finding his "someone to vent to." He respects that she sees through his act & grudgingly/subconsciously views her as an equal & thus worthy enough for him to share his problems with. He's a bit broken though so has to feel like he has some control over her before he can trust her not to blab. That or it's all about control & he's annoyed that he can't charm her so has to find another way to control & manipulate her.

Mikey is basically the Artful Dodger. The actor would seem a lot more at home hamming it up in a theatre than over-acting in a hospital. Totally cringe-worthy!

I think he was into her when they were at the bar and met each other so it could be the latter but I hope not. Actually, why do I think he only got with Meena to mess with Nicky's head. That look he gave her when he first walked into the flat with Meena must mean something. Goodness, I must be the only one wanting them to be together.

However, I do think it was the latter since he was looking for her after the munch it, crunch it truth came out @AGnu

I do think he respects her more than Meena. She's the pretty sparkly thing to look good on his arm and distract him from real life.
