New year, new thread! Looking forward to tonight's episode ...

I was in A&E yesterday and they did a pregnancy test even though I have just finished my period!!

Did Donna and the new registrar really just skip out for a bit, mid-shift, to go shopping for baby stuff?!

I got a bit irritated with Fletch going all needy on Jac - what is it with his mission to get her to admit to feelings she doesn't want to admit to, and then going all frosty when she won't admit to them? He needs to back off

I think he just gave Donna his credit card as he said he was going to change the PIN.

Thanks for the tip off PaddingtonBearHardStare - I just looked up Lee's tour and it starts this weekend! I've just managed to get tickets for me and DD to see him on Saturday evening!

Ooooh really I am jealous, I don't know anyone who'd come with me and none are near anyway. Apparently it's the last weekend of every month to fit in round Holby filming yay and his daughter. I shall have to content myself with his album on Friday

Luckily my DD is only 8 and so the prospect of a 'girl's night out at the theatre' was very exciting for her! I've been showing her videos of him winning Joseph on YouTube so she can get excited about it. it's really me who's excited

What kind of show is it?

Sleeping he's releasing an album and taking it on tour, I think it's mainly stuff from musicals and obviously Joseph. It's 10 years since he won Any Dream Will Do

He wasn't my favourite. My favourite toured in Evita a few years later though.

I'm off to see the ultimate show of musicals music - les musicals - With Jonathan Ansell (G4 guy) and Rhyddian

I can't believe Zosia hasn't been back to see Ollie, that is unbelievable and cruel really.

And I wish Jac and Fletch would make a move on ...

She came back once.

I wonder if jac and fetch will now just ignore each other for months.

Or if she'll collapse and in her dying breath admit she stayed for him

I’ve always had a bit of a thing for Ollie then I watched a few episodes on catch up today and saw his toes ....

On an side note to above I downloaded Lee Mead's album today. I like what I've heard so far although I would like anyone singing Blackbird

@PaddingtonBearHardStare It was brilliant! He has such an amazing voice and did a really good mix of song styles. And we managed to meet him afterwards which was pretty special. My DD was the youngest there, I didn't see any other children, (and she was wearing her special sparkly dress and shoes for the occasion) so everyone, including Lee, made a big fuss of her.

I'm a big Lofty fan now!

My brain still can’t comprehend how Libby from EE is a doctor. Her character’s demeanour and personality seems to be exactly the same as her Libby character and it’s a total head fu*k

Just watching tonight's episode of Holby - the storylines are getting worse and worse as each week passes. I really wish they'd write Oliver out - he is so incredibly annoying!

And Roxanna or whatever her name is too, it's getting a bit tiresome.

Not sure where the Jac storyline is going either.

But, at last there seems to be some glimmer of hope for Dom and Lofty :)

Has Jac put blonde highlights in her hair? It looks very pretty and the general style of it looks better too.

I really like Jac but even I think she crossed the line in terms of bitchiness last night - poor Potrenko....or however it’s spelt because I’ve forgotten her first name!

I’m also bored with Oliver too. Even his beautiful face can’t save him from the pointless character he has become.

I wish they would either have HH back in it properly or just write him out. All this dipping in and out of the episodes for no real purpose is getting a bit boring.

I’m a bit bored by the Ric Griffin storyline too now.

I feel like I’m bored by most of it these days - they need to think up something exciting to jazz it up a bit.

It’s Petrenko I think but I have no idea what her first name is either!

I’ve just been on Wikipedia and it shows loads of old characters that I’d forgotten about!

I saw the really really annoying Eddie, the senior nurse, does everyone remember her? I couldn’t stand her!!!!!

Queen was Eddie the nurse who was a prostitute, came in with a client who had had a heart attack whilst employing her services? By the end of the programme, she'd been taken on as a staff nurse?

You do forget the characters quite quickly I think.

I don’t remember her being a prostotiute but I can believe such a storyline existed!!

I just remember her having stupid hair and being REALLY annoying. Her character was so unlikeable.
