@Hangry myzzletoe- you are a genius. I'm going to Cha Cha my way over there Xmas Wink

That looks like a great Christmas lineup! Colin did one of the only decent, non excrutiating male Rumbas ever, Judy is always brilliant, and I loved Katie Derham's Viennese Waltz.

HangryHanderSonOfGod · 21/12/2017 19:38

Yes, I think they are playing to their strengths Charleston was one of the few dances Judy seemed to relax in/be less stiff/emote. I got all my song predictions except White Xmas wrong though. Glad you like the name change, I always join in even though I am not eligible to ever win them, but I do love a pun or two I am a complete geek Xmas Wink

TheSassyAssassin · 24/12/2017 09:36

Same here. It was odd wasn't it? Still, one more glittertastic outing tomorrow Glitterball Xmas Smile

No Strictly, no Masterchef, Sewing Bee and Bake off are but distant memories, lost in legend (especially Sewing Bee- it DIDhappen didn't it? I'm not dreaming, am I?)

I know this was asked a few days ago, but I think I can answer the question about whether being in musicals gives you an advantage.

Some musicals are dance musicals and require a decent level of ability (ie 42 Street, Chicago) but most don’t. Its also often the case that there’s a chorus made up of professional dancers, but the main parts don’t need to do much more than learn a few basic steps. I worked on a show Craig RH directed, it wasn’t a dance musical and i doubt any of the actors in it would have gained a shred of advantage from it if they ever did strictly.

FuzzyCustard · 24/12/2017 13:11

I am currently watching back-to-back Bake Off repeats on Really.

But I missed the pontifications of you lot most.

Happy Christmas cyber-chums and see you tomorrow for the Christmas glitter-fest!

TheSassyAssassin · 25/12/2017 06:57

I actually like Tess's dress today and Claud looks lovely in red (though too short and too many frills for me)

morningtoncrescent62 · 25/12/2017 18:34

Me too, Sassy. Which reminds me, happy Christmas all.

TheDrsDocMartens · 25/12/2017 18:34

Not organised enough for bingo

morningtoncrescent62 · 25/12/2017 18:35

What a revolting colour for Jeremy and Karen.

FuzzyCustard · 25/12/2017 18:36

What does Judy Murray look like? Holy Christmas...are they hoping to blind us with costume idiocy so we don't notice her dancing? (unless she has magically improved)

TheSassyAssassin · 25/12/2017 18:36

Bloody hell have missed our chats WineXmas Wink

Judy looked as wooden as ever in the opening, Fuzzy. Her two boys are so good at speaking out about sexism in sport, though, that I love her to bits whatever she brings to the dance floor - I think she must have brought them up well.
