I'm excited!

I like it but I don't love it. I think I need to see it in action, so to speak. I love the new look TARDIS and I can't wait to see Jodie as the Doctor

I think it looks really odd and I'm not convinced yet, but I think it totally fits with the transition from male to female and how the Doctor's brain would figure that out. I'm sure it will end up being a reflection on her personality and I'm glad it's looking like she's keeping the quirkiness, even if I'm not 100% sure yet!

I think she looks great, apart from the braces.

I had the same feeling raisinsarenottheonlyfruit - something about it makes me thing of Doctor Who of my childhood.

Braces are going to be a real hazard. Say you are in a huge rush to get back to your dimension of choice through a gap in the fabric of time but you need a quick wee because you’re desperate, grappling with braces could waste precious seconds. Or you are being chased by weeping angels/Daleks/zygons, cybermen etc and you catch your braces on a door handle or something. That could easily make the difference between extermination or a nice cup of tea back in the safety of the tardis.

This outfit has not been run past a health and safety officer imo.

They are trying to over compensate her being a woman, by trying to appease fans who are sceptical about it.

I thought that about the trousers being cold don’t like the coat either, seems impractical with hiding/running.

Bit hard to be fussed as we will only glimpse her until august next year.

All that matters to me is no more Bill, the companion with no character. Please stay dead!

She reminds me of Mr Tumble in that. Certainly, there's a CBeebies flavour.

If they had to go for a masculine vibe, a Katherine Hepburn look would have preserved her gravitas
