I don't think he is very bright. I did not see him on the tv this morning, but I remember they did an interview with him early on in the Joseph programme and he came across as a archetypal Essex boy, without the brassiness iyswim.

But, look, that is no bad thing, as others have said. If he had been Brain of Britain, he would be less likely to have been competing for the part of Joseph, wouldn't he?

Is there a Youtube clip of Daniel singing the song he sang when he was eliminated? Him and Lewis I mean. I would love to see that again as I was so gobsmacked when Lewis was saved given the power of Daniel's performance.

I dont really get why Lee won to be honest. He's clearly fabulous leading man material.Brilliantly broody and commanding. However, is that what Joseph is? I think he's more suited to more compelling roles than what is essentially a souped up school production. I actually cried when Lewis went out (I'm 35 too - trend emerging???) and was happy enough for Lee but I don't think he was actually the best for that particular role although he can prove me wrong when I'm there.

I thought from the start that he looked how Joseph should look. that's probably part of why he won and the reason Keith lost. he'll probably move on to more heavyweight roles once he's proved himself as a leading man.

Time will tell I guess

It is a travesty that Lewis won over Daniel that week.

I liked Lewis but did note that he was the only one to mess up his goodbye song!

I think he messed up the words at the end of Bring him home (elimination song with Daniel) too, but I am no expert on the words. Put it this way, he sang different words to Daniel and if I had to bet on who got the words right, I would go with Daniel.

Did anyone notice on Saturday, they said that all the Marias were now working (presumably in showbiz) so how many Josephs do you reckon will be working in showbiz this time next year?

Personally, I would like to think poor little Craigy is still working. I know, lampoon me, but he caught my iamgination a bit.
