I loved Debbie dance though but as she was top didn't need my vote this week

Is it just me or do some of the couples never seem to do a slow ballroom dance? - it seems to me that they go really fast so their mistakes aren't noticed --- Alex, Joe, Mollie, Gemma and Aston to me seem to rush thru their dances, jerking and flying arms and legs

Me too. Well, hoping for Simon, because he will be the one kicked out unless the other person actually stops dancing and leaves the floor. Assuming it'll be Davood, because the public often seem not to like the rumba and he's been in it before.

Okay. I admit it. With 11 dances in the order they were in, without repeating a costume, it is a hell of a lot harder than it looks...

So...you have 11 contestants and you don't want to repeat a costume. Ideally then...
Bat, Cat, Devil, Ghost, Mummy, Pumpkin, Reaper, Skeleton, Spider, Witch, Zombie
You can lose the bat (black batty ram a lam, bat out of hell)
You can lose the mummy (take your mummy out all night) unless you are pushing it with mama/mummy titles again
and replace Charleston with AT (cry little sister/look what you made me do)
You can lose the pumpkin (least flattering costume and Pumpkin Blood not very good song)
So you need 3 more costumes, copyright pending, eg Gomez and Morticia/Scream mask (referring to horror film not kid-friendly but Red Right Hand is an awesome song/Monster (the automatic but what could they wear?) MIB (two dark suits, easy, but you'd need costumed backing dancers)/mad scientist/ or goblins-ghouls-demons variation
Werewolves (Pash/Ore) didn't look great though. Danse macabre (day of dead make up à la Daisy)

Spider of the night/spooky/witchcraft could have been reused

I really do not want to see Davood in the dance off again. He seems like a nice guy and he's always polite when I'd want to be screaming how unfair it is that the focus of criticism is usually down to his partner's choreography.
I would hope that Simon will be on his way whoever is with him on the dance off though.

Neither he nor Ruth suffered from the revolting make up (although Ruth's hair was bouffant a go go, again!)

I would dump Simon and Karen for their revolting chewing all the way through the judge's comments. What on earth takes SO long to eat, and why did they take such huge bites?

Karen seems to think it hilarious to be caught eating on numerous occasions, she is repellant.

I am just wondering why she keeps eating on ITT or last night?

It is the only reason that I can think of as to why she keeps showing on TV that she is eating food or making references to her eating - so the press can see she is now eating

Otherwise it is just weird IMHO

^Have nothing against her incidentally. I think she got shortchanged and I would have put her with Davood after the Will Young fiasco. I would have made Nadiya earn her stripes with Simon.

DWTS looks much more polished and (dare I say) professional then Strictly. (I've never watched it - just seen the clips people have posted here)

The couple in the video look like they're meant to be Kahl Drogo and Daenerys but she looks more like Elaria Sand.

Kevin and Susan are meant to be Jon Snow and Daenerys.

Just caught up. I really hope we've seen the last of Simon. I can't believe he ended up just two points lower than Susan - her dance wasn't great by any stretch of the imagination, but was in a different league. Has anyone noticed the height of Susan's heels? I'm assuming she never wears heels in normal life and can't walk let alone dance in anything more than about half an inch.

I was remembering the first year they did 'props week'. I think someone danced with a chair as a prop, and it was seen as incredibly cheeky and daring. Who would have guessed where it would all end? I have to confess to liking musicals week, but the rest of the themed weeks leave me cold. Particularly Halloween week, because Halloween costumes just aren't conducive to very many dance styles. And how is a pirate on theme?
