The GOT theme is in 3 time so it would have to be a waltz, I think. Not sure whether trying to shoehorn foxtrot into it would work.

Do you think Strictly can stage some sort of intervention for Ruth? The more we see of Eamonn the more weird and basically shit he appears. I think she could do better.

The judges clearly had a script there. Brian was better in the dance off. He did seem to know he was going, which showed in the dance... and even then his dance was better. Grr.

Aww, I don't understand the Simon hate! He is not a good dancer but he is trying. As long as he is not kept in over better dancers, please give him a break. There is no need to be mean.

I wouldn't say I hate Simon. I find his constant referencing of never having danced before irritating. Others in a similar boat like Ruth and Susan haven't done this. I don't like Tim Lovejoy so tend to judge Simon a bit for being great pals with him . His routines are also not particularly memorable. Neither Brian nor Simon danced well but Brian did some recognisable dance steps (and has more rhythm) while I felt that Simon more or less walked through his routine.

I don't hate simon either I just preferred Brian he has a better personality and Simons dances are a bit dull.

Me too American. I was listening to an interview with the comedian Sara Pascoe recently. She was on Sunday brunch once and before the show he came into the makeup room and asked her if she was still a feminist. She was like ummm yes and he told her that we've got a female prime minister now...
