I do like Hans Zimmer, but not sure about his music for Blade Runner.

Haven't heard much of the new Blade Runner soundtrack, imagine it must be very similar.

Years ago I went to the cinema at the Festival Hall. You can request a screening of a film there for a special occasion, eg birthday. My friend's wife had arranged for Blade Runner to be screened (it was also open to the public). It was his favourite film, and he had no idea it was coming on, and for him. He was , and as I'd only ever seen it on the tv I was in heaven as well

I didnt enjoy that episode at all. Completely disjointed I thought. My DH has read the story it was meant to be based on, the Sales Pitch, and it bears no resemblance to that at all and sounds from the way he described it to be a far more interesting premise

i quite liked it. Though i agree the themes were a bit jumbled up, and it very different from Sales Pitch - apart from the yearning to escape.

I didn't know Steve B could sing! Loved his voice.

For those worrying that they won't like The new Bladerunner worry no more, I went last week and really enjoyed it. Very believable continuation of the first plot ( if you know what I mean! ) grim landscape, gritty story, enough tech to sink a ship, some of it barely working, and good new character in Ryan Gosling. Robin thingy brilliant as his boss, jared with very disturbing eyes and a very bad baddy. Was long, but would sit through it again.
