I'm really looking forward to this one, Steve Buscemi is one of my favourite actors, I think this one looks better than the rest too.

Anyone else going to be watching too?

nicenewdusters · 08/10/2017 21:44

"Do androids dream of electric sheep?" If I could think of a book title like that I would die happy, let alone writing the actual book.

TheColdDoesBotherMeAnyway · 08/10/2017 21:47

Pig is Jo Scanlon

nicenewdusters · 08/10/2017 21:47

Thanks Music . This is similar to the theme of the replicants in Blade Runner.

MusicToMyEars800 · 08/10/2017 21:48

I like Sandy too she's incredibly witty. It's something to do with Su's eyes that reminds me of her

nicenewdusters · 08/10/2017 21:53

I just posted about the Mark Kermode BBC review of the new Blade Runner film on the X Factor Thread. He loved it, so that's given me the confidence to see it. I was dreading it would be awful.

CrispyWonTon · 08/10/2017 21:53

Blade Runner is my favourite film, I really need to see the new one.

The thing with Phillip K Dick books that are turned into movies is that the ones that work tend to mostly just borrow from the books.

MusicToMyEars800 · 08/10/2017 21:55

nice I just read it and replied Grin
I said I haven't seen the first one in years, I must watch it again soon!
And it's only natural to see the new one.

What on earth is happening now Confused

OP posts:
MusicToMyEars800 · 08/10/2017 21:57

I hope he doesn't do it, he should just kill the bloke.

OP posts:
nicenewdusters · 08/10/2017 21:57

The sound track to the film is worth tracking down too.

CrispyWonTon · 08/10/2017 21:58

Alot of sci-fi and horror writers (Asimov is another) of his era wrote short stories for magazines, these are a collection of those.

nicenewdusters · 08/10/2017 22:00

Oh no, poor Ed

MusicToMyEars800 · 08/10/2017 22:00

nice I was just thinking that, the music is very good.
I missed a bit what happened?

OP posts:
CrispyWonTon · 08/10/2017 22:01

I've heard mixed things about the new Blade Runners soundtrack, mostly that Hans Zimmer insists on putting his stamp on it a little too much so it's not as iconic as the originals
