I'm at the hospital with dd2, seemed appropriate to start a new thread.

So far , I've experienced horrendous parking, and the coffee machine is broken.

It's not going well. Grin

If you had a broken bone , you wouldn't go to the Gp!!

cinnamongreyhound · 03/11/2017 14:05

All of it!?!

cinnamongreyhound · 03/11/2017 14:05

My gp wouldn’t touch a broken bone!

cinnamongreyhound · 03/11/2017 14:06

Hestons going to give it back to him.

Raahh · 03/11/2017 14:07

I suppose it's easily done . And i can see how he would be tempted.

And it serves Ruhma right-, in a way.

Heston will help out- but will risk Ruhma hating him, if she finds out.

I’d be able to spend £2k over and over again if I didn’t need to use it sensibly!

Raahh · 03/11/2017 14:08

cinnamon exactly. Most gps don't have an x-ray machine. My mother's gp surgery does. Which is quite good in a way, cuts down on the more minor reasons to go to a and e.

OP posts:
Raahh · 03/11/2017 14:11

cinnamon, oh, so could I.

Is someone putting something in Joe's bag??

OP posts:
cinnamongreyhound · 03/11/2017 14:12

Looks like it RaahhSad

cinnamongreyhound · 03/11/2017 14:12

That would be it for me! Someone could threaten me but I would never put my kids at risk!

Raahh · 03/11/2017 14:16

I know.

If this was a US procedural drama, Zara would be in witness protection or at least have 24 police protection or something by now.

I watch far too much telly. Grin

I like the way that Zak was carrying the exact same shopping bags as Zara was the other day. Plus walking up the same bit of town. They certainly get their money's worth in the Doctors' production team.

Raahh · 03/11/2017 20:43

Grin well, you have to pay for bags these days. So, they were being thriftyGrin

OP posts:
cinnamongreyhound · 03/11/2017 21:54

Probably not those posh bags as they’re not plastic Wink

Raahh · 03/11/2017 22:14

Maybe not ,Cinnamon [grin}

Although yellow Selfridges bags are definitely plastic coated- that's about as posh as I venture (but only the Primark bit or in the Trafford centreGrin). There's a Harvey Nic's in Manchester- I've never bought anything , so I've not idea about their bags.

I worked for JL Our bags were plastic Grin.

I got my wellies from joules and they are paper bags, probably cost £1’s to make but they’re free Grin

Raahh · 04/11/2017 22:11

cinnamon see, that's posh.

My wellies were from Wynsors. The bag was plastic. The wellies were from the kid's section. (perk of titchy feet) Grin

Yay Raahh they are turning the old BHS at the Trafford Centre into Primark. And the tram is going that way too. I have just realised the irony of me watching Doctors - I don't go. When sometimes I know I should

Raahh · 05/11/2017 12:45

Ooh- good, it's needs a bigger Primark. I like the one in town (though I still mourn the passing of Lewis's - and when I worked for JL, telling them we were not the same shop Grin), but I rarely go to town these days. We went to the Stockport one a couple of weeks back- but I only go there when I'm desperateGrin
I only go to the doctors for medication reviews, or to take the dc. And it would never occur to me to go with a broken bone. Grin.

redshoeblueshoe · 05/11/2017 13:37

I remember Lewis's in town when we wagged school we used to go in there Grin

Raahh · 05/11/2017 14:08

Lewis's was always 'Christmas' to me. A proper department store. When we were little, it was where my grandparents would take us to see to see Father Christmas. We only lived a few miles from the centre then, but it still felt like a big trip- even though we went every week. We'd have lunch in BHS. Grin When I was older, it was where i would go for a coffee- (they had the nicest loos). Before I had the dc I spent hours a week wandering around town aimlessly Grin.

Ahh, memories. Grin

Always in the sale Raahh and I find they’re the only ones that go up my huge calves!

Raahh · 06/11/2017 07:24

Then that's the best reason to get them- cinnamon. Obviously mine aren't peppa pig kids ones. I do have some pride. Grin not much actually, even better these days, I get them free as I trade in cashback points with our bank account. I really know how to live!

I've realised I might have to go into our surgery today. They haven't replied to any of my several messages regarding dd2s referrals- and I am being harassed by the continence team. My life at the moment is quite literally, poo. Grin

OP posts:
toldmywrath · 06/11/2017 13:45

But you've got a good sense of humour Raahh
I'm watching live today, yay! What's the bet the door bell goes....

Raahh · 06/11/2017 13:47
Grin

Oh no- I don't like that they are targeting Joe now Sad
