Talking of names, the young girl yesterday was Myra. I'd have thought that due to the awfulness associated with that name in England, that it would have fallen out of use.

Told I had the same thought about Myra, it's quite unusual, and to most people it will invoke one .person. (Or maybe the Hollyoaks character ).

Rose (West) was ok, because Rose is/ was a fairly common name anyway. Myra wasn't that common, even in 60's Manchester (she went to the same school as my dad-, she was few years older).

Val is wearing the same school as the deputy head at my dds school.
