I thought I recognised the voice of the wife of the man who had the unexploded shell inside him.

Was it the woman from Desperate Housewives? (the crazy woman with the gun in the supermarket)/The sister from Rosanne?

Of course, it didn't look like her, she looked about 2 stone heavier

Oh IW had to go to anger management something-or-other about that

And I thought the same about Bailey - was it Vag-jo-jo?

OP posts:
tribpot · 09/04/2007 22:33

It was "va-jay-jay". I don't know why I can remember that except it was most amusing.

Flumpytina · 09/04/2007 22:36

Yes that was it! Is Bailey a secret american MNer? But of course she is a fictional character so that is an extremely silly thought to have had.

Christina shouldn't have said 'I love you' to the sleeping Burke, not yet anyway...that was premature IMO....her 'ice maiden' heart should still be melting.

margo1974 · 09/04/2007 22:37

I say Vajojo and you say vajayjay

Lets call the whole thing off

margo1974 · 09/04/2007 22:38

I was singing there btw!

Thank you Margo, it's posts like that that keep me coming back to MN!!! I Love it here, bloody hilarious.

tribpot · 09/04/2007 22:42

Margo - I can go and replay if absolutely necessary

How could Christina not have said "I love you" to Burke? I love him and I've never even met him

margo1974 · 09/04/2007 22:46

tribpot

I was singing the potatos tomato song

You know the one....

I say potato, you say potarto
I say tomayto and you say tomato

potato, potarto
tomayto, tomato

Let's call the whole thing off...

no no they (the writers) should have waited until the last cliff hanger episode...and she tells him just as he falls down a lift shaft...or as a patient with rabies holds burke hostage in a lift shaft...in a power cut...in a hurricaine, or something like that.
Not just lying in bed.

I WANT MORE TENSION (with the beautiful, clever people)

Just as a small aside but is it me or is that Alton Towers advert that keeps on appearing on the right just the most bloody irritating thing ever?

tribpot · 09/04/2007 22:51

margo, I fully appreciated the to-may-to, to-mah-to inference of your post (Noting my ds insists on calling them ma-to-to, that's not in the song!)

turquoise · 09/04/2007 22:52

Hehehe - I was just thinking as I read the up to the Dawson's Creek bit that never mind, there's always the OC - then got to Luckylady's post of 22.03

This series of GA has already been on Living (just wait for the series finale, I am still having hot flushes remembering it).

Flumpytina · 09/04/2007 22:54

No spoilers please turquoise.

Flumpytina · 09/04/2007 22:55

Except does anyone fall down a lift shaft ?(they're always in those damn lifts so it's bound to happen at some point).

turquoise · 09/04/2007 23:01

No spoilers. Where's Califrau - she's already on series 3!

margo1974 · 09/04/2007 23:03

Sorry Tribpot!

misdee · 09/04/2007 23:06

GA is poo.

MARGOsBeenPlayingWithMyNooNoo · 10/04/2007 17:32

Aw Missdee do you like any hospital dramas? I think I've got a thing for men in white coats.

I've also got a thing for policemen as well, but they have to be wearing their stab proof vests (holds the beer/doughnut belly in)

And firemen in their T-shirts

tribpot · 10/04/2007 19:30

Misdee tell me you aren't anti-Ugly Betty as well!

I like the characters in Grey's although they do have a lot more to do with their patients than most surgeons you can imagine.

misdee · 10/04/2007 21:05

havent seen ugly betty.

tribpot · 10/04/2007 21:06

And would you like to revise your statement on GA in the light of current information?

misdee · 10/04/2007 21:09

hahaha, i'll think about it

i'll try and watch another one soon. but dh controls the remote.

i generally as rule dont watch hospital dramas as end up screaming at the TV. holby city is the worst one.

Sez23 · 10/04/2007 21:14

omg though, grays absolutely rocks!! already seen all series on living, but you have to watch final episode (and have a handy multipack of tissues)

Purpleparrot · 10/04/2007 21:17

I love Grey's Anatomy too. I watched it on Living originally and could not believe the ending! (Bit like a particular episode on Stargate Atlantis!).

Turquiose - The last episode of season 2 is just amazing, quite unexpected too.

I have watched some of the repeats on Five but I was staying with my parents for the Easter holidays when the explosion episodes came on. My dad mentioned it and I thought great repeats but once he satisfied himself as to who died it was back to the football! Oh well.
