I do love this series, but I feel so sorry for Dick, poor sod, he does all the hard filthy graft,and Angel gaffs about with painting butterflies with unicorn breath or something
She'll drive him into an early grave

We are moving house in two weeks and its made us so excited as our new house is abit of a project, albeit about 1 hundredth the size of a chateau haha

I like Angel. I'm amazed at her vision and ideas. I haven't had the impression that she isn't working hard too on the design and decorating and wedding arranging. Plus her dd's only just started morning school, so they've been doing childcare too.

Tansy, yes, she does work very hard - the second series showed them doing the food and the weddings must be a huge amount of work for her - 2 small children to raise too, it must be full on, even with some paid help.
it was funny when she said to the little girl ' did you speak any French?' and she just said 'no' - typical kids, they never tell you what they did at school or nursery! Their zest for life is amazing though, they seem so at one with it all.

I never get tired of the beautiful views of the chateau and i love seeing her creative ideas. I'm looking forward to seeing how the new van gets incorporated into weddings. Doubtless it'll look beautiful.
I reckon the pollarded trees will grow back more than she thinks.

The views and the surrounding area is lovely - lucky children being multi lingual too!
The roof would stress me out though, but i suppose they have time to save up now they know it will last a few more years.

The thought of buying that chateau, however beautiful it is, with all that work to do just makes my blood run cold.

Angel is a friend of a friend. I understand she is very lovely and an excellent host.

I love often see pictures on my FB feed of my friend staying there, it looks so nice.

YY to the posters upthread who said how much they love each other. DH would be under the floorboards if we had to take on a project like that.

Mine has be talked into doing any kind of DIY. He does it, but reluctantly and we have a small house.
Dick is amazing, he can do everything and gives everything a try. Mine just mumbles on ' dont have the right tools for that' and then forgets about it for another 6 months.
