Please tell me I am not the only one watching it. Please?

You're not, I'm watching too. Not bad so far, feels like a BBC version of Stars in their Eyes (when it was good, not when Harry Hill murdered it)

jay55 · 16/09/2017 19:16

I'd much rather stars in their eyes. This lot seem a bit creepy.

dillite · 16/09/2017 19:18

Well, Bruno Mars lacked charisma just a bit. But, this lot seem to be better than the x-factor victims.

I take it back, Beyonce is dreadful.

troodiedoo · 16/09/2017 19:29

Gosh this is really bad 😂 it's hypnotic though!

topcat2014 · 16/09/2017 19:30

I like it - thought amy winehouse was ok.
Wouldn't recognise Bruno mars in a bus queue though.

MrsHandles · 16/09/2017 19:32

I'd love the original Stars in their Eyea to come back, loved it. This is a bit crap but good; it's cheesy Saturday night tele

Chocolatear · 16/09/2017 19:33

It's that kind of TV that is truly appalling but you can't take your eyes off it!

PhelanGood · 16/09/2017 19:35

If they're gonna do this, they should have followed the old Stars in the Eyes format! Having said that it's hilariously bad - nice to see the real Sir Elton rocked up too!

dillite · 16/09/2017 19:36

Exactly chocolatear.

I like this Whitney better than the original version.

All these people from all over the world, did they get paid for appearing here?

OP posts:
MrsHandles · 16/09/2017 19:42

They even have the Stars in their Eyes voting keypads! Why didn't they just buy in Matthew Kelly while they were at it?

Heratnumber7 · 16/09/2017 19:44

George Michael is really good.

It's brilliant!

MrsHandles · 16/09/2017 19:46

Ok, I've decided I love this show, but what's with the bizarre duets?

AccrualIntentions · 16/09/2017 19:46

I preferred Stars in their Eyes because these people are all professional tribute acts so it feels like one big (not entirely successful) advert for their acts...

KurriKurri · 16/09/2017 19:47

I missed the beginning, why are they all hanging out at mock up club full of Elvises (Elvisii ?)
It is the weirdest programme I've seen for ages - really bad - can't tear myself away.
Loving this Not-George/ Not-Dolly duet Grin

LittleWitch · 16/09/2017 19:47

We're not really watching it. It's just background cos it's a bit crap and we missed the first half so we don't really know what's going on, but we do like Paddy Thingy.

CotswoldStrife · 16/09/2017 19:48

George and Dolly - who knew that would work?!

Whatshouldmyusernamebe · 16/09/2017 19:49

Michael Jackson is wonderfully awful

CotswoldStrife · 16/09/2017 19:50

Now you'd think that MJ and Whitney would work. But apparently not.

MrsHandles · 16/09/2017 19:50

Kurri I think you'll find the plural of Elvis is Elvii. The collective noun is an uhuhuh of Elvii. You're welcome.
