I liked most of the pairings but just cannot stand Kevin so a bit annoyed about that one!

I don't understand why they needed 3 new female pros when they have Chloe. Why didn't she get a partner? Anyone know the gossip (or wants to speculate?!)

Kevin makes my teeth itch, so I'm going to feel wildly conflicted whenever he & the delightful Susan are on screen. I need Kevin blinkers so that I can enjoy Susan's performances.

DH's just said Conolly gives him the heeby-jeebies & he thinks he's a knob, so its not just us women.

Well Susan loves Kevin, so at least she's happy!

Karen hasn't left. Joanne, Oksana and Natalie left. Natalie said she wanted to other stuff (am going to show her show in October). No idea about oksana, she was great.

Why didnt Chloe get a partner, fair enough for Neil no male dancers left but when 3 female pros left why get in 3 new ones, when there is one without a partner ? I think last year she helped out Aj and Claudia a lot with their routines so maybe she will help Aj again with Molly

I saw Natalie and Ian's show, it was fab!

Shirley is the mother of Mark Ballas from Dancing with the Stars. She also trained and became the legal guardians of Derek and Julianne Hough. Her credentials are really impressive, I loved her entrance. She can really move!

There are always a few spare pros in case of injuries to the other pros, I can only speculate that Chloe wasn't a good physical match with the male celebs, or maybe her contract states that she is only employed as a spare.

Susan is really likeable isn't she? In fact apart from Brian and Chizzy (who I've taken an unexplainable dislike to both) they all sound lovely.
Alexandra B has a bit of a rep as a diva but came across nice and I love the Rev too, he is so funny on Have I got news for you 😇

Chizzy was very irritating and I think that she might be the first to leave.

Debbie will be good. She looks fit and light.

I like Alexandra. She has a great work ethic. She wants to win and doesn't hide it, which I admire (I like the new pro - Amy - for the same reason).

Super Susan is amazing and is my favourite along with Johnnie. The latter will be naturally competitive.

I think that the Rev will be the one who overstays his welcome and gets on Craig's wick. Like Ann Widdecombe and Ed Balls previously. I loved the Communards!

Gemma is fabulous, funny and stunning, but a bit too athletic/hefty and clumsy by her own admission.

I don't watch much breakfast tv and didn't realise how pretty Ruth was. I don't think she'll be much good though.

I think that the hot actor has been paired with gorgeous Nadja to get an "affair" buzz going even though nothing will happen. Cynical?

It's a shame Oksana left. She did great work with the Judge.

And Tess genuinely in tears about Bruce...then kindly Claudia giving her a comforting squeeze. I was nearly crying myself.

Not sure about Alexandra's new, beaming,slightly manic persona, she has always seemed arrogant and not very pleasant in the past. Will be interesting to see if she becomes more likeable.

I think Joe is the dark horse, and I really hope he's good for Katya's sake because I love her!❤️

I read the Rev's autobiography and it was really interesting.
I also found Chizzy annoying. She reminded me too much of Alison Hammond, and not in a good way.

I've been looking for this thread and it's nearly finished! I thought that the Brucie memorial bit was lovely esp. the good old fashioned ballroom dance! Tess was crying too very sweet!

I really feel for Alex. To me she comes across as terribly earnest rather than arrogant.

Ola was dropped IIRC - she signed up to do The Jump with Channel 4 while still under contract at the BBC and injured herself.

I am so glad James Jordan has nothing to do with strictly any more and if that means losing Ola then fine

I find him so rude, obnoxious and arrogant - he is just restricted to bit**ching on Twitter he can stay in his own house watching on TV

I agree with others about Brian Conley kind of like I imagine a creepy uncle to be, who thinks he is very funny but really makes your skin crawl also with very bad breath. (All of my uncles are lovely btw so just my imagination)

Hello my lovely glitter belles.

I have finally caught up with last nights show. I guessed the first 8 couples exactly. But then the rest I didn't guess but wasn't surprised by.

My DS (10) is VERY enamoured with the new girl Nadia. Whereas I still have a girl crush on Oti, also I didn't know Charlotte, but I am struck by how pretty she is. I also expected to really dislike Ruth, but she didn't actually annoy me... yet...

Gemma I expected to find fake and a bit TOWIE-esque but actually I found her really sweet and genuine.

Also Joe... I'm a bit in love.

I think Ruth's whole cougar schtick will wear thin pretty quickly.
