I'm taking a guess that the young lad ?Callum is going to be the son of Michelle's new man.
They all seemed concerned about the dad's temper and he's already showing some snippets of his instability.
It also gives them all another link into the other characters.

That's a good theory, AndWhat ! My personal prediction is that Robbie and Donna will become an item. Their animosity at the moment has echoes of playground pushing and shoving to deflect any suspicion that they fancy each other.

Omg that was the highlight of my day, Robbie being thrown in the rubbish. Hopefully he stays there!

I thought it was funny right up until I saw the expressionon his face. Then I felt sorry for him as he looked so sad, like he'd been bullied.

Once upon a time there were some really well-written characters in EE. You could at least relate to them and their dilemmas as (almost) believable, or at least interesting.
Now we have a menagerie of ridiculous cliched stereotypes. New family - single mum, overweight pregnant teen daughter, tattooed son, living in council flat, staffy-type dog all supported on benefits. New hipster pushing out traditional eastend traders with his 'vintage' tat stall -fings ain't wot they used to be. Lazy writing.
Also, I hope Denise has told her new employers that she is off for a two-week holiday soon.

Final word on this: it wasn't a spoiler, as I didn't read anything of the sort. I just worked it out. Sorry to change the tone a little......

That scene between Karen and Keanu was promising in terms of character development. Let's hope they give him a bit more to do and we can start getting a feel for who he is.

Great call by the poster who said Michelle's new boyfriend will be the baby's grandad. The schoolboy is supposed to be fifteen? I know it is probably realistic but I can't really understand how an immature boy has sex but streetwise Louise makes a huge deal of it. Bex had no issues around it with Preston but did with Shaki etc. It doesn't quite add up.

She broke her arm falling down the steps didn't she? I can't remember when that was with respect to Strictly but I think it might have been too early. I'm not sure.

I think they covered the knee support with some throwaway remark about too much salsa actually. I vaguely remember her standing in a group on the square watching some community event or other.

Me too. That scene where she was completely distraught with worry about Bernadette and guilt about accusing keanu. It was very real. I could totally see myself reacting the same way in her shoes. I hope the comedy acting stops though because it is really ruining what could be a brilliant character.

I agree. I was prepared to really dislike Karen but I don't. I was expecting more of the bench stealing behaviour rather than the good parenting. I loved when she lined the kids up and gave them a short hearing of their petty whinges.
