Who got Bernie pregnant then?
come on,years ago it would have turned into pages of thought and speculation about the bloke wot done it, now i hear is tumbleweed blowing across the market as we all shrug and say we dont care.
how things change eh?
Maybe she wont be with child, but it will turn out to be some disease instead which makes you crave stale crisps and gain weight and she will end up in the special room reserved for the mitchells usually. we will all feel sorry for them and Karen will start a fund raising page on fake book to raise money to go to Florida where they know the answer to her odd disease and she will return much better after a fortnight with Mickey mouse.

I have had lingonberry juice before and it's very tart - not a good fit for pie and mash imo

Maybe pie n mash needs new marketing? instead of being seen as the food with sweaty eel juice over it, they could turn into a healthier version with fruit 'drizzled ' over it instead, fresh 99 percent meat pies, sourced mash made with butter and cream and hand picked potatoes. They could charge more and team it up with the poncy 'craft beer' Fi was trying to off load. Make it twice the price on fancy plates and the young hipsters will lap it up, not east end any more, but a fresher healthier alternative.

They sell lingonberry sauces and jams in Ikea. Tried it with the meatballs once, it was a bit weird.

Agree about Mick and Fi. They would make a good pair. Love Shirley and her snide comments so she would have someone to pick on again.Grin

Dot did get in trouble with the council years ago for letting out her rooms. Must only be allowed to have one person now I think.

i think that having your mum breathing down your neck at 40 and narrowing your eyes everytime you speak to another woman is a bit much really. considering she wasnt a fan of L anyway and tried to burn her old pub down or something, then you would think she would leave mick alone to get on with whoever he wants without her comments and thinking something is going on? however, this Fi is exactly DD's type if the rumours about him and sarah harding were true! Elaine and L are playing games as it is too.

I've never even heard of pie liquor before! I was trying to figure out why anyone would want to pour booze over the pie & make it soggy!

I'm pregnant & eating a lot of cheese & onion crisps because they're quick & easy & I can get them down before hunger becomes nausea. Not in the early days though... Couldn't even drink water early on!

agnu, sounds awful for you. i have read that ginger might help, or just a ginger biscuit/ I was lucky not to have much morning sickness with my two, just felt a bit queasy at times in the meat aisle of the supermarket once.
hope your okay now. when is baby due?

AGnu oh you poor thing - I had awful sickness in pregnancy but mine was in the evening. A friend said that ginger nuts helped so I was having a bite of my dinner and a bite of ginger nut, all the while feeling awful, it was grim. I developed a craving for Quavers although normally I don't like them - how odd! Hope you feel a lot better soon Flowers

I think Karen 'diagnosed' Bernie's pregnancy because she didn't eat the prawn toast with her Chinese. Would Bernie know at 16 that you shouldn't eat shellfish in pregnancy?

Bernie is obviously very clued up on pregnancy - but not preventing it in the first place!
Its funny how keegan gave Bex and louise a hard time about having boyfriends and so on, now his own half sister ( i assume they dont have the same dad btw) is now pregnant! will he subject her to the same taunts as he did with those girls? will madison and Alexandra join in with the shaming of poor Bernie? I have read up on next week and it seems just as boring as this week.

She is always in uniform isnt she, so she must go to the same school - they lived in the flats over the back so not a million miles from the square. unless there are more schools that we dont know about!
Amy is such a comical little thing, her face when confronted by the pies with pink sauce on them! she could be Roxy's child easily.

The problem with Bernie being pregnant is that we don't know her and have never seen her interact with anyone other than her family so there's no Who's The Daddy? storyline cos it's going to be some random kid from school and we won't care.

I think the storylines look to be making the Taylors the centre of everything. I can't take to them though. Keegan has just been too repellant for too long to be redeemable and Karen seems really over-acted to me.

The Bernie baby must be a false alarm, they never raise & resolve an issue in one episode, it has to be dragged out for at least a few weeks.
Dot got in trouble for subletting before didn't she? I don't see why having Sonia staying is any different to Sonia & Robbie ( obviously having the pair of them living in your house would be beyond unbearable but the council wouldn't care about that!)
I wonder how they passed the credit check for the push flat, Rotten Robbie's job is part time & super Sonia isn't actually working. The rent on a 3 bed swanky flat in E London must be well over £1500 a month
