Absolutely terrible. Patrick Swazey he ain't. Terrible cringy singing. No dancing skills and all the moves were crap.
I watched it with my hands over my eyes.
Dreadful.

Im a bit behind. It is so shit but i cant turn it off.

Dirty dancing was never my favourite film but right now i want to watch the original.

I watched about half an hour and gave up - am watching the original now in a bid to wipe the remake from my sullied mind

I've just skimmed the rest of the thread & really, really need to watch the ending now to see how bad it was!!

I've just bought the original to watch tomorrow which will hopefully erase this monstrosity from my mind!

I agree! Was Truro awful but still couldn't stop watching it tovsee how much worse it got! They should know better then to try and remake such a classic!

I've sat and watched it all, mostly with my hand over my mouth! I would kill for Baby's figure but she looks a bit young and dumpy, again I wish I had her figure so not being mean at all but none of this suits her x

It nearly made 'Havana nights' look good.

and wtf was the ending?

There was zero likeablity for the characters it went on far too long, they missed out some special moments from the original. Baby lacked the charism Jennifer had and the Jonny couldn't dance. The ending was insulting to the original.

Havana nights was far better than this.

I watched the last 20 minutes. I could have done something useful with that time, baked a cake, painted my nails, painted a masterpiece......

In fairness Billy was quite sexy. She should have just taken the watermelon back to his room.

I was coping until the parents started singing at each other, I may now need counselling.

Who on earth was dressing the usually lovely Abigail Breslin to look like a dumpy 55 year old?! None of the magic of the original and not a single drop of the charisma Patrick Swayze emanated.

My DH came in and said "im not watching this shit' so Im catching up on the ending now. Poor Abigail Breslin indeed. Not Patrick Swayze is like a plank of wood! And the terrible autotuning of the singing is horrendous! Ive foast forwarded to the dance scene for the LOLs!

As someone who was never a fan of the original, I really enjoyed it.

i thought it was brilliant in fact i'm going to see if i can get it on dvd and give it to my sil for her birthday. i never did thank her enough for buying my kids fucking playdoe
