What an odd ending. So instead of it ending on a high, love co queers all etc they decided to kill it with Jonny and baby end up going their separate ways.

I was so confused at the ending.....was it supposed to be a comedy?!

What the hell happened to Abigail Breslin? She was such a wonderful child actor - what a bloody shame.

She's too good for this nonsense but I suppose you're offered fewer roles when you're not super beautiful and super willowy.

And they missed out her wonderful heartfelt speech when she says about being scared of things - but mainly of "walking out of this room and never feeling my whole life the way I feel when I'm with you" then jumps him. God I love that speech, and they just left it out. Criminal.

He had no sex appeal and she just looked lumpy and uncomfortable. Sorry.

I was watching 15 minutes behind - they would barely scrape a 4 from Craig on Strictly for that. Ed Balls is a more convincing dancer.

Squoosh, yes it's rather sad isn't it, because she dares to be a bit larger than average she's automatically relegated to 'plain girl who blossoms' or 'chubby friend'.

They couldn't even do the last dance properly like the original 😳

Seriously, no offense to the guy, but they could not have picked a worse person to play Jonny Castle.

I have agreed, out loud, with so many comments in this thread.
From the first 30 seconds I knew it was going to be awful but couldn't switch it off. Ds appeared 5 minutes before the end and wanted to put something else on but I made him waittu til the very end.
I just cannot believe how utterly dire that was - and I say that as someone who has watched a lot of shite films!!!!!!!
