Anyone else find Ben Fogle annoying?

I can't work out how he gets presenting work, he is rubbish. He sounds really wooden and makes loads of mistakes.

all these presenters are interchangeable various bald headed people and loopy girls who tell you which house to buy..terrible

christian is slightly better but still lopped of the same charm the old women tree

Reasons I don't like him:

  1. He is a really bad presenter
  2. He seems very smug
  3. He clearly got where he is because of good connections and loads of money and not talent, which sucks

Well, I really like Ben Fogle, especially presenting Animal Park with Kate Humble. I'm sorry, I've always liked him. Think he is an all-round good bloke.

A friend of mine went on a charity ambulance drive to Croatia/Serbia/former Yugoslavia with him when they were both at uni together - he said what you see is what you get with him - very nice bloke, not a huge amount of depth intellectually but a good egg...

Interestingly, his bio on wiki emphasises the fact that his mother is Cockney actress Julia Foster (starred in Alfie with Michael Caine) so I do wonder if he's trying to offset his arseclenchingly posh persona with something a bit more lovably earthy. It ain't working for me.

I saw him answering some general knowledge questions once on tv. He was not very knowledgable shall we say. But other than that, he is OK. I bet he brightens the day of many a house-bound elderly woman.
