Can we please have a comic relief thread purely to share the take that live if anything else? (We'll have more of them please BBC)

Take that were class. Much as I hate to admit it am developing a soft spot for James corden. He would have been my cuddly slightly gay bff in school I'd like to think. Used to annoy the crap out of me - but his obvious absolute adoration of tt, his knowledge of the lyrics and the moves, and his not half bad voice has warmed me to him (basically a male version of me really).

The Big Yin has made me cry

RJnomore1 · 24/03/2017 23:12

He doesn't look too well does he 😟

CoolCarrie · 24/03/2017 23:14

I bet graham wishes that sofa was one big red chair!

CoolCarrie · 24/03/2017 23:15

I wish it was one big red chair myself !

FagAshMIL · 24/03/2017 23:39

Why such a big mystery about how Cara and Phebe know each other. Awkward Confused

mynachos · 25/03/2017 00:38

Woman in the gold skirt. Just dire. Biscuit competition wtf? French and Saunders.. .... just why? Poor poor graham Norton having to deal with all those tossers on the sofa......... obviously still a.worthwhile cause but the "comedy" was woeful. Not the same without the late great sir Terry wogan

CoolCarrie · 25/03/2017 08:51

The O2 is a stupid venue for something like this. No atmosphere, crowd bored, and even graham couldn't save it.

RJnomore1 · 25/03/2017 09:12

Am I the only one who thought cara and phoebe had either been in rehab together or been intimate?

And how uncomfortable was the airplane sex discussion? Does norton not like cara?

LIZS · 25/03/2017 09:17

I'm not sure it belongs on bbc anymore , if it ever did. There is so much commercial plugging - round of applause for gsk sparing £3m towards vaccines, pizza express "hosting" a segment that didn't work, tk maxx for selling t shirts , The O2 venue etc - and majority of comedians are stand ups who appear on ch4 panel show circuit, not mainstream. I thought the one who ironically carried it off with most dignity was Billy Connolly. The format , and many of its original presenters, has had its day.

mynachos Wasn't Terry Wogan the face of Children in Need, not Comic Relief?

The whole programme was shite - James Corden and Take That, French and Saunders, all the crappy sketches with movie clips edited in....

They need to seriously consider stopping the show now - its embarrassing. Fundraise another way if necessary.

Susiesoap7 · 25/03/2017 10:16

Absolute load of rubbish, they do not make me want to donate, I give to what I see and believe

4minions · 25/03/2017 10:35

I normally love Graham Norton but had to turn it off when he started with Cara Delavigne and the airplane it was the most uncomfortable TV I've ever seen.

Spadequeen · 26/03/2017 08:48

We turned over to the last leg. laughed more in the first 5 minutes than the whole of comic relief

Yorkshirebetty · 27/03/2017 17:08

I thought they might have mentioned him, at least.

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 27/03/2017 17:18

I thought they might have mentioned him, at least.

If you mean Terry Wogan, why would they? He didnt do Comic Relief, he did Children in Need

rollonthesummer · 27/03/2017 17:22

-I thought they might have mentioned him, at least.

Who?

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 27/03/2017 17:30

I think they meant Terry Wogan although he didn't actually present it Confused

2014newme · 27/03/2017 18:15

It was utter crap.

I've laughed more @mynachos who said it'd not the same without terry wogan 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
