I didn't think Kat n Alfie Do Ireland had been shelved, I thought I saw Shane Ritchie on something like the One Show saying it was delayed.

i remember when Pauline Fowler and a few others went to Ireland ( poss 90s) and it was panned as the Irish were not shown in a good light and there were a lot of complaints! She was also tracking down a long lost relative.

No, they did used to go to Ireland, Spain , Norfolk, southend - the last trip out was to the hotel for Ronnie's wedding, which did look really lovely but needed more security on the swimming pool area.
Been a few more location scenes lately with the school and the roads around the Olympic park. Overall, the budget has obviously not stretched to going abroad. I was hoping for a 'Sharon and Phil in Italy' special but doubt that will happen either!

Oh yes! The Alfie/Kat spin-off would be awful viewing, but the discussion here about it would be good
