Did you know you might not have any Sky channels after midnight tonight? Sky and Virgin are arguing over money and Sky are going to pull the channels if no agreement today!

So no Lost or 24..........

It will make not the slightest difference to my life. I never watch Sky anyway and I like the Simpsons, but not enough to give the Murdoch empire my money.

How can anyone possibly need 100 channels?

I don't need 100 channels - just a hdnaful will do, as long as they include Sky. Appreciate that Branson is standing up to the big boys but think this public clanging match reflects badly on both sides. Apparently all we are talking about is a 3p cost per customer. Jeez, if that's the case I'd at least like to have been consulted - add mine on my bill, ffs.

I don't have the tv part of virgin. don't affect me.

Is anyone else having trouble with channels just going dead? this has been happening all week... lost broadband as well yesterday... it's really a crap service, I wish we were allowed to have Sky!

Mines been fine most of the time, although occasionally the tv crashes and I have to unplug it and plug it in again. It always did that with ntl though.
I did ring them and said I was cheesed off with losing sky one and sky news and what were they going to do about it. They straight away knocked £30 off my monthly bill which they said is a permanent reduction and doubled the speed of my broadband. My sister rang up an hour later and they immediatlely knocked £30 off her bill.
