Why does everyone think Ash is such a great guy? Brax asked him to stay away from Denny. He dated her asap. Then he went after Phoebe despite supposedly being friends with Kyle and, I think, living together? Then he and Kat hooked up even though she and Phoebe were housemates (awkward) and supposedly best mates. Now he's happily spending as much quality time with his girlfriend's friend (although let's face it they were less friends, and more the only two women in their early 30s left after the exodus) as he can despite the friend clearly having a crush on him and his girlfriend objecting. He's bound to 'accidentally' shag Tori obviously but that will all be fine because Kat isn't 'maternal' enough for uberdad Ash's liking.

Why is the onus on him when the relationship was between her and Kyle? He was even prepared to stand by her through the pregnancy. He even gave Kyle his KIDNEY

I do this its dangerous ground here and I wouldn't be happy but I do think that if Ash told Kat who she could and couldn't be friends with, he'd be berated for it. I think Kat is coming across really controlling of Ash over this all. He's struggling on his own and she just wants the fun bits. They're relationship is in the death throws and they both need to quit. Of course its not acceptable if they have sex whilst he's with Kat but I don't think he will tbh

Got so behind over the summer because Channel 5 didn't have their fucking break this year and have just caught up.

Not warming to the new family - why is Ziggy such a brat? She needs to get a bloody job! The mother is soooo smug that I found myself feeling sorry for Leah, which just isn't on.

John and Marilyn pretty much my favourite characters, although I love uberdad Ash and want him and Tori to get together and have beautiful babies.

How did I forget that Ash gave Kyle his kidney! 😲

I've been watching but it has been a little bit boring... anyone else not fussed if Mason lives?

Mum is smug and I think there's enough tension between hot Dad and Leah to normally mean a clandestine liaison.

I suspect Kat's going to get fed up with Ash refusing to ignore Tori & dump him, possibly to go work elsewhere - her boss did say that going for the promotion would involve more travel. After she dumps him he'll go be broody somewhere public where Tori will see him & decide he needs cheering up. It'll be time for Luc's nap so they'll head back to his & within 10 minutes of Luc going to sleep they'll be in his bed. Because that's how all relationships work - "we're just friends", , kissing, sex. If you're not in bed with your significant other by the end of the first kiss, it's never going to happen.

Either that, or Kat will be so desperate to keep Ash's attention that she'll get pregnant. He'll spend all his time whinging at her about how dangerous her job is, she'll berate him for being over-protective & then on her last day before mat. leave she'll get shot/hit by a car & die, leaving Ash to raise 2 motherless babies & Tori will conveniently be on hand to help...

I also dislike the new family. Coco is whiny. Ziggy is like a stroppy second rate Ricki, the mum's insufferable & I have to keep reminding myself that the dad isn't supposed to be Brad from Neighbours with a new head.

Re: Raffy, I'm just waiting for Ava to move in with Justin full time & he & Scarlett will become a family unit with Raffy & Ava. Or possibly she'll stay with Tori... or maybe John & Marilyn will unofficially foster her long-term. Or Hope will get out of prison, have straightened herself out & Raffy will go back to live with her, if they want to get rid of her character.

Don't think they'll be in a rush to get roof of Raf. I think she's better off with Marilyn

I have seen several spoilers re. Kat, Ash and Tori.

I really like Scarlett and hope she stays. Unlike the other women - I'm looking at you, Kat - the actress playing her really can act, and I can feel her pain over her child. I'm also a sucker for any relationship where Alf develops one of his quirky friendships with a lame duck he's taken under his wing! That man is one of the show's biggest assets.

Yeah he's definitely taken on Scarlet as one of his own. If Leah moves out she cpyld move in with Justin, Raffy and Ava!

G'day I'm still watching too. I'm the Ash hater can't stand Tori either so they can get on with it. Mystery man phworr he was like terminator 3 today and think Cardboard Kat will be very happy with him. They've made Raffy a bit annoying recently maybe Marilyn's doing her head in!. Love Justin and Scarlett but Alf will always be my man.

So Broody is in 2k a week rehab. He agrees to sell SALT to fund it. Checks in next day.

Today Justin was talking to Hot Dad (did you spot him in just his towel? Hellllo!) about Bratty and her bringing a CV into SALT.

Justin did say they're about to sell when Ziggy was after a job. Not sure what agreement they have with the rehab place but you'd have thought they'd have waited to send him until it was sold so they knew exactly how long they could afford for him to be there. What if it doesn't sell for enough?!

I can never understand the finances in Home and Away. Ash and Justin must work in that garage about one day a week between them, given how often we see them in the middle of the day not being there. Roo has popped into school to tutor Raffy once - and Raffy wasn't there anyway. How does she afford her extended holidays? To be fair, the diner women are usually slogging away, and Kat and Tori never leave work, but I don't get how some of them stay afloat.

Ah and Justin worked here more when Matt was there! You'd think they'd be busier.

Hunter's dad (or not, I'm so behind I don't know whether he is or not yet) looks soooo familiar to me. Anyone else? I googled his name and he doesn't appear to be in anything I've seen though.
