I've been re-watching PLL, and I want to know your A theories.

Alternatively, who do you want to be A?

I know the person I suspect of being A is not the person I hope it will be.

Rusty Even as a desperate gay PLL addict seeking any kind of same sex relationship on TV, I can't really see Emison, there's just no chemistry. I don't deny they love each other though, but sexual attraction, like we see between Hanna and Caleb, or actually with Paige, is missing. Also Ali would need to do a lot to reverse the power problems.

If however we have some actually steamy Emison scenes that seem authentic, which I reckon is likely given that Emison is the most popular ship behind Ezria, then I think I can see it...

I agree travelling, there is clearly a connection but I can't help but feel that Alison just enjoyed the power she held over Emily, whereas Emily did love or lust after Alison. I think power is Alison's true love

I do slightly love Ashley despite her suspiciously taut face

I loved Emily with Maya so everyone else seems second best. Paige was pretty good though, in the end.

I agree that Ali's true love is power. I don't really like Ali at all to be honest! She's entertaining but that's it.

Alison completely loses her power and sparkle by s7, it's quite sad.

She's also way younger than the Four, about 11 years younger than Troian so I often felt bad for her

Yeah I really dislike Ali but at the same time it is why she is such a good character. I feel that her character is very reminiscent of Laura Palmer in Twin Peaks and that is why the show works so well

I love Pam too! So...which PLL mom would we be to our kids? Hope that when DD is a teen, I'll be a mix of Ella and Ashley. In fact, I'll marry Ashley, be Ella and DC will have the best of both! 😂

I think I would want to be Ella. She is wise and intelligent and also understanding. Although I do like the fact that Ashley is a strong single mother who will do anything to protect her daughter even if it is illegal. I'm looking forward to rewatching the episode where the Mums get drunk

Who is our favourite dad? I can't stand Byron. His head seems slightly an odd size for his body All the rest seem quite disinterested apart from Emily's dad. He is pretty cool

The dads are all rubbish and one-dimensional. Haven't seen any supportive scenes from the dads whereas the mums are amazing, especially Ashley, and even Veronica in her steely lawyerly protective ways. It's all about the central female characters.

Wayne is pretty supportive- especially in the scene where Pam is having an absolute bird because her daughter is gay.

The actor who plays Byron is Rob Lowe's brother in real life

Ah it's Wayne thank you Orange. Yeah I like Wayne. I do like the fact that PLL focuses on strong female characters, I'm trying to recall if any other teen shows are similar
