I agree it's all fairly predictable, apart from the random runaway bus.

Hate what they're doing with Mick. He's a brilliant character as a happy chappy landlord and now he has loads of Big Problems and can't be the lovable cockney anymore. They did the same with Alfie Moon.

Totally, i loved Alfie at first, him and Kat had chemistry. Spencer and nan, all good. He was pleasant, made friends, was actually nice.
Then marriage problems, kids, lost the pub, money woes etc etc. nan died.
It went downhill.
Ditto Mick.
They cant help themselves.

Hell yes. Every drink that goes over the bar is paid for. If I want to buy someone a drink I do so at

..... normal prices with cash from my purse. Another thing you always see in soaps, random drinks given away willy nilly. No waste recorded. Pft.

Yes was so silly the money the dressing up, the planning, the you deserve a night out. Note "out" not same place you go every other day of your life. Even if it cost £6 a drink and had 4 rounds that's only £72. For that you could have nice meal OUT anywhere!

I think they spunked the entire budget on Ronnie's wedding/ the pool debacle. Possibly even taking out payday loans to cover it and now they're going for low budget storyline options.

I agree. I like this thread but tbh the only time I watch an actual episode anymore is to join in, take the piss out of the episode or because someone on here said it was good. The new style is not for me.
