It's very odd that nobody was helping that woman find her lost son... Honey did briefly but soon lost interest!Confused

buddhasbelly · 24/01/2017 21:32

i'm thinking that's why Dilk - said child will be under the bus with Lee - child will survive but we will be Leekless! these are just my predictions, not actual plots!

youarenotkiddingme · 24/01/2017 21:34

I wondered if the ringtone belongs to the mum phone of missing boy?

Would be interesting twist for leek to die a hero - you could say they've turnip around.

SabsFabulous · 24/01/2017 21:35

The bus lifting thing happened last year not far from where I live in London: www.standard.co.uk/news/london/incredible-moment-crowd-of-bystanders-lift-bus-to-free-trapped-cyclist-in-walthamstow-10283901.html

Also you only get wifi on underground stations and not when in the tunnels.

HoHumming · 24/01/2017 21:38

Gosh that was all a bit too much, my heart was in my mouth!

The woman looking for her son, I thought she might have been looking for the bully who was recording the whole thing/shoplifting. I take I have completely imagined that.

The ringtone is Lee or Whitney surely?

Martin looks like he is not going to make it.

NoelHeadbands · 24/01/2017 21:39

Sorry to wade into a regulars thread, but I was looking for someone else to have started an EE thread tonight and no bugger did!

Me and and DH were in stitches tonight watching, literally weeping...

The overly long opening shot of Bonnie Langford, prostrate. Donna being 'found' in the tiny gap next to the Vic. The no one caring about Mr Unnamed Bus Driver, nor Minimal Speaking Part Woman with (Missing) Child. The group of people helping Louise off the top deck of the bus by firmly gripping her feet! The crowd grunting as one whilst lifting the bus (and dropping it at the first attempt- Oops there goes the spleen!) 😂😂

For the first time EVER, DH asked excitedly if it was on again at half eight Grin

Akire · 24/01/2017 21:41

Everyone's welcome Noel! Though half bus was wedged under bridge so surely they not be able lift the front part enough anyway

DearMrDilkington · 24/01/2017 21:43

You've found your people here Noel Grin.

Fancy nobody checking if anyone else was under the bus with Martin! They could have dropped the bus on someones head.

nancy75 · 24/01/2017 21:43

Phone about to die but just seen this, sometimes I love twitter Grin

Nancy Grin

If only leek was on the square to stand next to the bus looking gormless while muttering about whitless spending money on presents..

NoelHeadbands · 24/01/2017 21:48

Grin Grin

And then at the end when they put up a helpline number for those affected by tonight's programme Grin I'm a twat sometimes

EnidButton · 24/01/2017 21:50

Watching now. I've paused it just to come and say

FFS LOUISE!!!

I don't condone violence but someone needed to give her a slap around the chops. Unless she's got PTSD from the car lot she'd thing collapsing, there's no need for that level of hysteria.

And Carmel "my baby, my baby". Calm the fuck down. 🙄

SpikeGilesSandwich · 24/01/2017 21:52

I've always wondered they say on those helplines? Maybe, "It's not real you know!"

It was actually quite emotional, I've seen my DH nearly die and it changes you, tv never used affect me before. I'm not quite at the ringing the helpline stage yet though.

HarryPottersMagicWand · 24/01/2017 21:53

They won't kill a 5 year old child will they?! That would be too much.

Martin doesn't look good. Would be really survive being dragged down the street under a bus?

I reckon it will be Whitney, that's why they made a point of her phone going off in front of Mick the other day. I reckon she would have tried to save the child.

Is Billy definitely ok? Why haven't we seen him? Jay came racing back, Billy must have been with him.

MrsJayy · 24/01/2017 21:53

We howled at the action line number if you have been afected by a bus being bounced on your headGrin

dingdongdigeridoo · 24/01/2017 21:54

I laughed at the helpline. Wonder if you call up they have one of those automated lines. 'Press 1 if you're currently stuck under a bus, press 2 if you're stuck on a tube with your mother with dementia...'

HarryPottersMagicWand · 24/01/2017 21:55

Yes, Carmel and "my baby", what the one who you have just seen is totally fine and spoke to you from the window! And Shaki saved Louise's life how? Very confused by that.

Someone needs to twat that bully big time!

youarenotkiddingme · 24/01/2017 21:59

Maybe lousie thought she could get a last minute oscar nomination?! It was certainly over dramatic!

If it's leek under the bus we have a full meal - sausage leek and mash!

celeste84 · 24/01/2017 22:00

Ok everyone, we're gonna lift the bus....

How did they lift it when half of it was crushed under the bridge? Defies physics.

NoelHeadbands · 24/01/2017 22:03

Vincent 'can't see the driver' that would be cause you're looking at the back if the bus mate, try the front?

Denise, Denise! look for a lever or summat to open the bus door!

DearMrDilkington · 24/01/2017 22:06

I liked that Denise has just given birth and has been unconscious for ages after a head injury, but still managed to help lift the bus up?!

She's a superhuman!Shock

EnidButton · 24/01/2017 22:08

Ok so that was all a bit OTT. Honey to Louise "I would've been the same.". No shit. You've just had a nervous breakdown sitting in the pub doing nothing.

The very ending was good though.

HateSummer · 24/01/2017 22:09

There was a helpline number?! I watched on I player 😂. Actually thinking it about it, I've been stuck on the tube a few times; it can be pretty traumatising 😆 But on a serious note, could they have done that because of the 7/7 London terror attack? The bus could potentially have brought back bad memories for some Londoners.

EnidButton · 24/01/2017 22:12

Yes they'll find Twitney under the bus shielding the 5 year old who will be fine.

EnidButton · 24/01/2017 22:13

There was the bus that went into the market in Glasgow. It was quite similar to that.
