Anyone watching? I love Swedish noir. Not sure there's much mystery though, can't see how it can progress over 8 episodes. That said I am warming to it.

What was that very last scene about? Whose grave? Where?

helzapoppin2 · 17/12/2016 22:35

flamingnora, I wondered that too! Hopefully someone knows.

A couple of episodes behind. I love a scandi drama although I am finding the plot a little far fetched. Yes to the poster up thread who said they couldn't forgive Beck for killing off Gunvald - he was definitely my favourite scandi man.

I think the grave was of the woman Stina witnessed being killed in the hotel. Can't remember her name.

helzapoppin2 · 18/12/2016 06:33

Good thinking, Deux! I'd forgotten about her!

That was a rather abrupt ending wasn't it?

So the "whydunnit" was because he was in a cult, which he was inducted into after losing his wife and son?

Not quite The Bridge, but I did enjoy it, even if the ending was somewhat rushed.

Meh another poor ending after 8 episodes of fairly good drama. Disappointed again!

last night episodes were so odd.

When the girls were found and went to the grandmother, how come the mum, the profiler, never went to see them?
She was worried when they went missing, and then what, nothing?

NoTractorsAtTheTable · 18/12/2016 09:41

The ending seemed a bit of a set-up for a second series, didn't it? Agree with the above that it seemed a bit abrupt.

I did enjoy it though - the scene with Marcus in his study with Rolf watching through the house was beautifully shot and lit.

ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe · 18/12/2016 09:45

It's a whole series of books, so definitely a second series.

flamingnoravera · 18/12/2016 09:52

Ah Deux thank you- yes, the TV cook. I enjoyed watching the series but found that last episode all a bit too conveniently wrapped up. That said, I will be missing having something to watch on Saturday nights. I need a new show to follow.

NoTractorsAtTheTable · 18/12/2016 09:53

Ah thanks Chardonnay - that makes sense then Blush Grin
