because I can't believe that I am. It's my half an hour while dh baths ds and I just love the crazy plotlines and mad mad relationships! And please don't tell me I'm the only one happy to see Peter back from the dead...

I love Home & Away. Colleen should have her own comedy show IMHO. The whining teenager storylines annoy me though.

Me too, but it does confuse me the rate it goes at. Drew said yesterday he'd been targetted by the potential kidnappers for months but he's only been in summer Bay for about six weeks. Anyone else concerned by the sheer number of tragedies, suicidal nutters and weather related accidents happen in that part of Oz?

Amused by yesterday Matty to Lucas while Lucas' brother lays dying for the second time this year "are you and Belle more than just friends?" OMG his brother (who by the way I have a secret crush on) is DYING AGAIN!

Well, I watch it on Five Life so might be posting spoilers - watch out! - but so far, 2shoes, Peter managed to get the bad guy's gun and shoot him (it's just so easy when you know how), Dan was upset because Peter came back from the dead but Drew and Leah convinced him not to be upset so that's ok. Peter still needs to shave, desperately. Jack wants to try again with Martha but Martha doesn't love Jack any more (as you don't after two days of marriage, or however long it's been) and Martha has just had a one night stand with a mystery man who coincidentally turns out to be Jack's best friend (even though Jack has never mentioned him in his life and he wasn't at the wedding...). Flamin' heck as Alf would say. And not an annoying teenager in sight, apart from Mattie and Lucas hanging round Jack's bed looking mournful. Phew!

Not only concerned by the tragedy rate, shoppingbags, but also worried by how desperate everyone is to move/return there! People are so desparate to get back, they don't even die properly. And the hospital should get its own show. Glad to see that Rachel is taking on Flynn's role of being that doctor who is on call 24/7 and amazingly capable of every single medical thing under the sun! You never see the pyschiatrists scrubbing in for surgery in ER - what a bunch of slackers!

how long before crazy zoe and 'mama' rose come back in a blaze of badly staged explosions and loony monologues in dusty old warehouses. no peter don't go to the abandoned gasworks by yourself again!

He is a rubbish copper as he gets beaten up constantly. LOL at Martha falling out of love with him after 2 days of marriage. Ric has now officially shagged all teenagers in the Bay so when he's done with Matty he'll need to move on to Irene. Mind you there are only ever 3 teenage boys and 3 teenage girls at any one point living there. Prob because Sally's house only has a finite number of rooms unlike Lyn Scully who has 25 bedrooms in that 2 roomed bunglow thing

lol...absolutely LOVE Home & Away....alhtought the storylines get weirder and weirder, lol!
I always think it's funny how the lil Toddlers are hardly ever seen...I mena, for someone who wanted a Baby so desperately, Sally doesn't actually spend any time with the poor thing....soaps, eh!
Gotta love it! IT's the only soap I watch!

I've been a closet Home & Away fan since uni. H&A helped me decide to dump my no-good, freeloading, overly buffed-up boyfriend at the time coz he reminded me of Bobby's husband/partner who was an idiot (Bobby - Flathead's daugher, Sam's mother, who got killed in an explosion I think). This was loooong ago... 1993

If I was 16 again, I would soooo be into Drew...

i love H&A I'm not closet fan either. Dp hates it, it just so happens that when he gets in from work I am watching it on Channel 5 and then I watch it on digital five afterwards.
I love Kim Hyde, he is sexy !!!!
But if its not a natural disaster that wipes out the Bay, it's a plane crash, fire or a complete Mad person stalking someone. I love it!!!
We've had the nutters stalking Drew and i now predict there will be a plane crash, bomb or an earthquake.

Now, I can't decide if I think Peter Baker's cute or not. Well, for a dead guy, he's pretty hot but...someone help me decide. And is it wrong to think Ric's cute - does that make me one of those disturbing women that you read about in the National Enquirer?

Oh yeah I also think Martha has tooth caps!! And the rate the teenagers fall out of love one day and fall in love with their best ,mate the next day.

I think the actor who plays Ric is probably in true Aussie soap tradition about 42 playing a teenager so you're ok.
Some q's for you other fans then: why are the principle and deputy principle of a school both under 30? Why do Ric and Martha both call Alf grandad but Roo and Duncan are his only children and I'm sure Roo is my age so can't possibly have grown up kids?

I think that Martha is Roo's daughter? And Ric is th eson of Alf's secret son.
Roo was really young when she was in it and pregnant.

I don't remember her getting pregnant. Alf has a secret son??? WTF is Macca, isn't he Martha's big brother and therefore Alf's grandson too? Maybe I'm just really really old and have not noticed

I've been wondering about Macca too....must say, he had a bit of a style change, hasn't he...he somehow doesn't look as vile as he used too....I think, that Macca and Amanda will get together leaving and new lad is gonna go for Maccas Bird
Not sure what next disaster there will be. got a good guess it has to do with the new lad and his family!

the ages get me
Kim hyde is supposed to be 19 but looks way older.and I remeber roo getting pregnant but am sure it wasn't 18/19 years ago.
and ric is hot so is drew and I am too old to be thinking this...........
