I hate the itv2 show now, Stacey reminds me of how I look/feel when I have to have a meeting with my boss - awkward and way out of my depth! And her perma white teeth are scary! I loved Laura whitmore last year, and Jo was better in previous years when he was more junior

This is the first year I'm not watching the after show. Watched it once, way too much. Total amateurish presenting, Stacey's teeth do look ridiculous, awful to say but she reminds me of an excitable young horse, she's out of her depth, so are the rest of them. Laura Whitmore was great and Emma Willis before her but with this lot it's ruined?

Wonder if the producers are calming her down a bit by editing her out.

Haven't watched for a couple of days. Seen interview with Danny now out. Once again he didn't come across well.

This thread shows how we are all fed up with the editing and screen time some contestants are given.

Yes we are OBlo. I'maCeleb has always been one of my favourite nonsense reality shows because it doesn't last long but the editing does seem so staged.

I missed the last half of last night's show, but reading online it sounds like Danny was a bit bitter about being voted off, is that right? (He says he's quitting TV for good) I also read he says Scarlett should win?

I'm ambivalent about Scarlett, annoyed that she gets some much airtime, but very irritated that the press and the editing try to spoon feed us one particular contestant which is what they are doing here.

I didn't think Danny came across as bitter at being voted out. He was very jolly and upbeat. He said it was his ambition to be on celeb before he left TV, so he was delighted to have had a chance. He also didn't slag off Martin or anyone else and was lovely about the young people, especially Jordan & Scarlett. I thought he came across well.

Danny came over well he seemed fine and a week in the Versace cant be that bad , he said he was going to be concentrating on writing and not do Tv he was finished with it but not in a stroppy way. Danny is really self aware and knows exactly what the shows about.

Ahhh right... it was scummy reporting that I read then or me making it up as i go along! I would've watched the last bit on catch up but couldn't be arsed and there's always tonight's episode!

I thought Danny came across really well too. I think that when you've come through a serious illness you really don't sweat the small stuff. He just calls it as it is and I respected him for that.

Really don't get the Scarlett fan club though. She seems like a down to earth girl who gets stuck in but nothing more than the others, she just talks more!

Obviously the viewers didn't like him, as I didn't. But I thought Martin would have gone before him because he annoys a lot of people. But I'd rather have had Martin to Danny. Next to go is hopefully Adam or Joel.

I disagree that that is why he was the first to leave. the votes were for your favourite OR who you wanted to stay in for comedy reasons. I dislike Martin but I might've voted for him(I don't do TV votes) just for entertainment. Danny just got less votes than the others.

Ahhh but the GBP do love an irritant which is why Martin is still in I reckon. It's like picking a scab, you can't help it!

Agree on your post chopstick I am mystified as to why Scarlett is sharp as a whip or favourite at the bookies, she not a hugely intelligent interesting person, she is someone who is in a reality show who made her name by being in a reality show. Or something.

Yes I know the vote was for the favourite, but doing it that way still gets the same result, he wasn't liked enough to get any "favourite" votes.

Yes it's a shame Danny got voted out. He probably had loads of interesting anecdotes etc but he wasn't given that much airtime. I think some of the saved ones would have got voted out first otherwise.

Danny has always irritated me even back in the day when he was all over radio and telly like a rash so I'm not sorry to see him go TBH.

Martin will stay until near the end 'for entertainment' not because the public like him.

Yes I agree about Danny probably having lots of interesting tales to tell. Scarlett won't have any but I bet she's in it till the end.

I wonder about the demographic of voters. I would guess its a younger audience and in that case the older celebs are not known to them.

Martin has a big following because of HUTH. he's annoying in a little boy kind of way, but not hateful like Lady C was.

I think the public feel sorry for Martin. I'm finding it all so so boring. They even like the rice abd beans this year ffs. They love the challenges, they've got loads of food too.

Scarlett stealing the lamb shanks for camp was so contrived in a 'look guys I'm so kind and funny and devious' . I'm sick of her. I want to see more if ola Sam Jordan. Used to really like Adam but he's awful. Another fear faker when it comes to trials.

I agree, do we really want to see a bunch of celebs (earning shed loads of money) getting along so well and having a fairly easy time. On the whole I think it's a poor choice of camp mates this year, they're so boring and I certainly don't get the big deal about Scarlett. She just an ordinary girl who's not really got anything of interest to say.
