Mic is back

New series is back, have to say not much we happened. But jp has serious anger issues and good on ollie for standing up to him. Binky will no doubt go back to him, she has appalling taste in men.

Glad proudlocks back and bouillon next week

Yes, I surprised myself by warming to JP, he seemed so genuinely besotted by his gorgeous baby daughter. Have always had a soft spot for Binks, I hope it has a happy ending for them

Anyone know when the 2nd episode of the baby show is on? I thought it was supposed to be on Monday 10th July, but then it wasn't....

JP came across so differently didn't he (in episode 1 to how he is on MIC). They are such a lovely, sweet, caring couple. I always liked Binky but thought JP was a bit of an arse. He came across really well on the baby show.

Yes agree - I wasn't going to watch it (as I can't stand him and think he's an utter tit) but was recently bored on a long train journey so did. I was pleasantly surprised as he actually seemed quite decent, so it also made me think how staged MIC is.
I also couldn't get over how small Binky's flat was - she was sat by the sofa / near the front door and had the fridge freezer and kitchen almost next to her... who'd live in London eh...
And the second show was billed everywhere as being on the following week but it's now moved to say that it's on 'later in the summer'. Maybe something to do with ratings not being as expected??

Yes I wondered about ratings not being high enough....also wondered if they just hadn't got enough footage yet to finish making the second episode.

Me a couple of weeks after mine were born: stuck in pyjamas 24 hours a day, hair nowhere near being washed/brushed, house a total mess, baby doing well but everything else a total calamity. Not exactly the shiny, glam, 'our lives are perfect and very expensive' vibe that you get from MIC!

Looking forward to seeing episode 2 as and when!

According to the Daily Mail, the Ibiza shows start at the end of July. They also have the official cast photo and it's hilarious in that it's the most photoshopped thing I've seen in a long while. The cast all look a bit 'meh' re in who got into the production to shoot the series but I'll probably still watch it on catch-up if nothing else is on...

Watching the second baby show on catch up and Jp is back to being more like himself. Ollie is lovely and it is so nice that Binky has great support from him and her family.

Aye. Yawn. Still watched it but had to rewind several times due to involuntary nodding off. I thought I had missed the exciting or pertinent stuff. I hadn't.

Emily clearly wearing the obligatory Chelsea blinkers until the last 5 minutes.

Harry clearly going for the smarmy twat look this season - tata to the Terry Thomas cad.

Madame Mim has clearly got her sights on Sameh and Sameh is pointing a stiff little wand right back at her. I feel like Tiff might lose her shit again

Toff blowing more hot and cold than me on a menopausal flush day. She is quite possibly just as irritating.

This week's episode has made me think after watching ALL series of MIC and now being the grand old age of 44, I may bow out. Was a tad boring wasn't it?

And really don't see the attraction of Harry! Someone help me out.

I would say they started filming a few weeks ago so he'll be home in time for 4th September, but that means Mama and Papa will have been fined by Kensington & Chelsea LA for yoiking him out of school during the summer term....

And yes to PP comments, I've watched every episode of every series but I may bow out too. Didn't bother to watch until the end of Monday night's episode. This 'young lot' are astonishingly dull.

Hoping Binky's two baby episodes might get her her own spin-off series, though. LOVE Binky and Ollie and Binky's mum, and 'Josh' is slowly becoming much less of a tit....

The Binky show, with the very real friendship between Binky and OIlie showed a huge gulf to the main show. We need to see the friendships before the man stealing and fallouts. We can't root for anyone who is in a fight with everyone right from the start.
Toff is awful without Jess. The new people all meld in to one.

You've hit the nail on the head jay. We watched Ollie's friendship with Binky develop slowly, so we can totally understand their close bond. Likewise the Watson sisters - Lucy bossed Tiff around and was controlling, but the love and closeness was there, so it made it more enjoyable to watch.

This lot are like blank pages: new blonde, boys fancy her, they hook up, another new blonde who may or may not be a friend of the first turns up, boys fancy her, they hook up, first blonde cries, identikit friends sympathise, and repeat. It's boring. And there's only so many times that Jamie can jump up and down like a demented toddler braying 'let's pardee', too.

I've watch it from the start. This series doesn't look promising at all.

Absolutely bang on. Perfectly worded, Jay and Cary.

Plus from series 1 onwards it was obvious that most of them knew each other really well already and were part of a real friendship crowd - they must have dragged Mark-Francis out of the Palace of Versailles or somewhere - but most of them did genuinely know each other and were friends already and had 'history'.

With this lot, who knows if any of them have ever even met before the producers have shoved them in front of the camera!

Nah. I don't feel they are friends. Not the new ones. It was heartwarming to see Binky and Olz but they are very much in the real friendship minority.

I think that nowadays a lot of folk aspire to be famous instead of grafting for pennies. It is curious when poshos choose to demean themselves a bit when there is obviously no need to financially. If their aim is to get known so that they can launch a fashion or jewellery range then fair doos.

I suspect that foppymcfopfop's music career is the only reason he is on MIC. Just shameless self promotion for aural pish - in my humble opinion - that wouldn't see the light of day otherwise. If Ella is his inspiration it would explain the underlying tedium in the tunes.

I have watched every series too. I may struggle this one. I simply don't care that much about any of them.
