Roxy could have got by working 16h as single parent and top up rent and tax credits possible. But since Any lives with Jack she not get any help. Donna can't be paying more min wage.

Blondeshavemorefun - they're not even looking at renting the place. They want to buy a shared ownership! So it's not just that they're short of a couple of grand. They'd need 20k or so from Lee's month of work.

Whit is acting stupid but she's very vulnerable. I guess all she's ever wanted is a family life. It's realistic I guess, since she's never lived alone and probably doesn't know how expensive it is to buy a flat.

Yes craving an ordinary life with a husband, nice house, garden, babies and being a sahm is understandable. A lot of people who haven't had all of those things, or only a couple of them, when growing up feel like that at some point. There's a sense that they'll have control over their lives and stability for the first time. Especially true of Whitney given her past. To her all that is exactly what she's always longed for. A home of her own with all the other normal stuff. It'll be easier for her to bury her head in the sand and ignore any warning signs or things going wrong because she so desperately wants to believe it's all wonderful and Lee desperately wants her to believe so he can be the one to make her happy.

Love that part time barmaid Whit is looking at £325k flats. Deposit? Who needs a deposit?

I hate the way that vegans /vegetarians are always portrayed as a bit weird and all we eat is tofu and lentils. Libby is a pain in the arse, never liked her character, but they've made her so much worse.

She is such a smug know it all.

Whitney's behaviour to Lee's colleague ("staff"!) reminded me of when she gatecrashed his meeting with his superior officer when his army career was in the balance and how inappropriate she was then. Cringe.

My Mum hasn't done my ironing since I was about 14. (I took pride in doing my own school shirts.) Libby is doing a masters isn't she? She's very intelligent anyway. I'm sure she can plug an iron in and run it over her own clothes. Denise doesn't seem the type that'd do her adult daughters laundry either.

Whitney is one long cringe. If I knew her in real life I'd break my eye muscles from constantly rolling my eyes whenever she spoke.

Roxy is a terrible mum. She wants them to hand it to her on a plate with no effort involved. Fair enough Ronnie shouldn't have gone and arranged the party without asking her but if Ronnie and Jack weren't taking care of her where would Amy be!!

"Someone" doesn't need to to tell Whitney, Lee needs to come clean about his shit job. He is feeding her dreams.

Its a long time since they've had "new" set like Lee's office though. They don't often do that. It wa also unusual to see Lee and Whit at those flats as characters are only ever seen leaving the square, not really off it. The do it for hospitals/weddings/funerals but that's usually about it isn't it?

I felt the whole scene at the call centre was appalling, dreadful acting by the boss, the bully etc. Its starting to make me feel uncomfortable watching it at the moment it's so bad, even the duff duff was awful, bad enough to be robbing the dead but there's no way Billy's son would've realised what Jay was up to, he could easily have been doing something legit, it all just seems so pointless at the moment. And don't even get me started on bloody Libby grrrr!

I wasnt sure whether the look on William's face was just because of the dead body. We are meant to think he's rumbled Jay and no doubt that's what Jay thought but Will might just be appalled at the body.

I saw it last nights free missing about a week. I'm going to give it a miss for awhile. It is too drawn out and the story lines aren't going to make any difference to whatever is going to happen next. For me the drama was too much and now there is too little. When it evens out, I will be back.

I imagine Lee work story will be over very quick or else cost them fortune in sets and extras! Why would Whitney presume everyone coming out of huge building would be "staff" it's bizzare. If he was the big boss of 200 people not going to be out door at home time at 5.01!!

So Whitneys going turn up one day because he's left his executive sandwiches at home and see him doing some silly in the lowest league table task and be all upset..... or will he lose job and still fonoff and sit on bench all day. Surely he be better off working in pub as bar cover instead!

Libby is going to be so annoying. In real life your adult daughter moving home getting a good job and helping out with baby would be good. But with martyer Denise it just be more work for her!

Denise is perfectly capable she dosnt need full time carer it's all very odd she has Patrick and her sister to help. She be back at work in no time with baby in magic 24h crèche

I agreed the situation re Roxy and her daughter and R's mothering was diabolical - do they really expect us to believe it?

storylines seem so thin and not much substance lately.

Did anyone else notice Billy and the customer in the funeral parlour shake hands using their left hands, just so Jay could get a look at the customer's expensive watch? It looked really odd.

I thought OMG when I saw Jay taking the dead woman's rings. That is so low.

Where does Libby buy her clothes from? She dresses like an old lady!
