I also was waiting for Arthur to get burnt or something but no! Just another filler.

No idea how old boy was either thought primary school. I know teenagers get stabbed in London and it's a tragedy but not unheard of so that's why thought was much younger child. Like you say Denny is in y6 so he wouldn't even be mixing with high school.

And if it is next to primary how come all primary kids get left and all olde siblings take the bus? Pointless

JustAnotherSadOldNumber · 26/11/2016 12:55

I heard someone mention "14 years old" but i'm not sure if that was about the murderer.

JustAnotherSadOldNumber · 26/11/2016 13:03

Is the eye thing Dot has that actual thing June Brown has IRL?

SoupDragon · 26/11/2016 13:15

Yes, I think it is what June bRown has.

dingdongdigeridoo · 26/11/2016 13:21

Dennis was born in 2006 so still at primary school. You'd expect a bigger outcry for a 10 year old being stabbed to death. It'd make the national news.

Can't believe it's been 10 years since big Dennis died. Eastenders was pretty good back then!

I thought Arthur would get injured too and Kyle would slink off in disgrace. Weird episode.

JustAnotherSadOldNumber · 26/11/2016 13:27

I'm guessing everyone in the square knows martins not the Dad now right?

JustAnotherSadOldNumber · 26/11/2016 13:41

speaking of useless charactrers, remember when dominic treadwell collins said Cathy will have some really challenging storylines and long gone are the days of standing in the cafe....

... that lasted long didn't it.

SoupDragon · 26/11/2016 14:00

She is about to have the most challenging role of her career - a horse's arse.

SoupDragon · 26/11/2016 14:01

I think that only the terminally stupid could think Arthur is Martin's.

So, Billy probably does. After all, he's notnoticed the missing money yet.

MissBattleaxe · 26/11/2016 16:11

I reckon this is the dullest EE has ever been. And what's the half started storylines? There was the Grant and Mark and Courtney storyline where it built up then everyone just went home. Then there was Paul's long lost Mum who turned up for one episode and was never in it again. Now Kyle's going before he's really been used properly as a character and Kathy is underused too.

For once, I don;t missing a week of episodes. I'm just not curious enough to tune in anymore.

MrsJayy · 26/11/2016 16:43

Im hoping Denise tells phil about the baby soon Louise and sharon will do the wide eyed pouty thing and Phill will take a funny turn and decide to have his Liver just in time for baby potatoes birth ive decided to make up my own story lines Grin

MrsJayy · 26/11/2016 16:45

If you notice Louise takes her pouting tips from sharon

EnidButton · 26/11/2016 23:12

if your going to accuse someone of an affair, you would turn the radio off first!

Grin

I hope some people keep watching. I need your witty commentary. Far far more interesting than the actual episodes atm.

iknowimcoming · 26/11/2016 23:23

Enid - I was more confused by the fact that they'd had the row where she accused him when he'd come in from 'work' then presumably spent the evening together and been to bed then the next morning she decided to kick off after turning the radio on and making breakfast Confused

EnidButton · 26/11/2016 23:36

That was a quote from The80s about the radio but yes, did they have sex after she kicked off and then the next day she kicked off again? Confused Maybe she thought Lee liked it. She's a bit hardwork isn't she and I loathe that expression usually.

SoupDragon · 27/11/2016 08:06

I don't think she's being hard work in this case,Lee has rejected her at every opportunity since they were married and has been lying to her. I'm not surprised she finally kicked off.

BlueThursday · 27/11/2016 08:39

I got a new tv and honestly thought it was that causing the wobblyness

I said to DH something was going to happen to Arthur with the focus they put on him in the high chair but no Hmm

What on earth is happening to EE just now it's awful

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 27/11/2016 16:06

Yes, I was on the edge of my seat thinking Kyle was going to accidentally flick scalding hot Belchamel sauce over poor little Arthur.

Agree, all very dull. I don't watch EE for a glimpse into humdrum ordinary life, it could really do with some explosive far fetched storylines Grin.

Who will be the other half of Kathy's panto horse? Perhaps it'll be the good looking stripper guy and Kathy'll decide she does want to do it after all?

What on earth will Lee buy Whit now he's bigged up her Christmas present? Oh dear.

LineyReborn · 27/11/2016 18:56

Maybe stripper guy will be pursued by Kathy and Ben and Cassandra and Babe and Sylvie.

Potato Baby will be born in a stable, and Billy 'Funeral Sad Face' will be crushed under a massive Black Friday leftover delivery of wreaths and donate his liver to Phil.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 27/11/2016 19:24

Yes poor stripper guy. He'll be so busy running away from his admirers, he'll trip over all the rubbish, break his legs and sue the council. Grin

I think someone went into labour at last year's nativity. Stacey I think. Denise needs to follow with the tradition.

amorita · 27/11/2016 19:30

I find Whitney so annoying. What does she do with herself all day other than chatter to Lauren? She does one or two bar shifts a week. She is proper high maintenance and needy expecting a house and lavish gifts whilst giving little back.

Optimist1 · 27/11/2016 19:34

Having spent years in Bianca's family you'd imagine Whitney would have a more down to earth attitude to money and how you can't have everything material that you'd like to have.

HateSummer · 27/11/2016 23:43

Whitney used to be a TA, and nursery nanny. Why can't she go back to that? Why is she working at the pub now with no life ambitions?

Can someone explain what Derek was brought back for? Was it supposed to wow the veiwer's socks off? Hardly Grant Mitchell is he?

Our city changed to recycling waste 10 years ago with fortnightly pick ups. No rats, fighting or bins overflowing here! Such a stupid and irrelevant storyline, that just keeps on going!

It's like someone is having a big laugh on the inside!

Rustythedog · 27/11/2016 23:52

I stopped watching a couple of weeks ago apart from the very odd episode and just keep up to date here. I've watched EE for years, I never thought I'd just stop. I'm wondering if after a while, I will lose the urge to read this thread too.
