Lee resorts to 'desperate measures' when a flat becomes free from one of Jack's block! I Can only guess that means stealing money , another thief ( as if Jay doing this isnt bad enough!)

Oh dear, 80's. What on earth can Lee's desperate measures be to get a lease on one of Jack's flats? You'd need a small lottery win to afford one.

My suggestions are
a) armed bank robbery (not sure if this is even possible nowadays),
b) committing some sort of fraud at work, maybe stealing from customer accounts? His boss has already accused him of fraud so he thinks in for a penny, in for a pound.
c) he raids the wishing well and finds his guests have been extraordinarily generous to the tune of several thousand
d) he sells LadyDi on EBay (accessories included)

I love D! poor dog, i doubt they would miss her and her plant eating ways though.

trouble is, even with the deposit paid, how could he carry on paying the monthly rent and bills after that?
C is feasible. although i am sure that in Real life there are so many ways people cant do this very easily ( have never worked in a call centre before , so not sure) dont they have daily checks or people listening in to them? dont know, but its not going to end well i am sure of it. I just want him to fess up and get help, i am sure Linda, mick whitters and sausage could come up with something? or he could try looking for another job?

Fraud! I think you've got it ILost. He'll use customers card info to steal money from their accounts or take money from the business. Probably money from the business as they're being arseholes to him.

Considering Lee is always being told 'your not the sharpest tool' etc etc, i would be impressed if he finds a foolproof way of stealing from his horrible employers already! shows he does have a criminal mastermind brain! lol

It's not all that spoilery though. It's the usual teaser crap they post in soap mags. Half of the time they are just guessing!

It'd have to be some sort of ongoing fraud to pay rent. Must be coming to a head at xmas. They've not got much else going into the festive season. Unless they kill off Phil!

I actually reported the spoiler on a non spoiler thread! I don't buy the magazines I don't look when I pass I don't read other spoiler sites. So please don't post stuff even if you think it's "well known story" some of us like suprises!

Yesterday Whitney though lee had his own PA , he has no previous office experience, he has been in the army & worked on a fish stall - what kind of job does she think he got with that work history? She really is thick!

Does anyone know what the lack of wheelie bin collections has to do with anything?

I assumed when Denny got caught with fireworks, it was going to lead up to some sort of massive fire on the square...probably just in time to ruin the wedding.

But it appears I was wrong, so WTF did the firework scene have to do with anything and why do they keep pointing out the overflowing bins?

The bin topic as far as we can tell is just a filler topic probable some junior script writer on their first job

Mas (while he seemed to still have a job) delivering letters and everyone complaining

Ian ring council to complain

Rubbish being thrown in Restaurent bins at Ian getting locks for it

Donna getting rubbish put in her bin and finding out was Billy and tipped it back down his steps.

Linda moaning about state of place and phoning council

Jack and cubs TWICE litter picking in the square

Bin lorry appearing in wedding photos

Billy telling kid off for throwing rubbish at the bin

We can expect more excitement ..... probably a big rat story at some point. Big meeting in pub periods signed and council change collection as if Someone falls in bin and dies because it takes 3 weeks to find them. Can't think of anything else!

I can honestly say I've not been left left thinking "Ooh" at any of the doof doofers for the last 3 weeks or so

If one of the Eastenders kids fell into a bin, literally no-one would notice for 2 months, least of all their soap parents

Forgot to say this week we know have Donna playing the I can't afford live in square card. Maybe if she stops paying Roxy manages to rent a two bed flat she could afford to stay? Her mum only moved out week ago and already can't afford the rent.

Martin works on stall can't afford live. Donna and Roxy work on stall can't afford to live. Lush works on stall selling crack with every dress can afford to live. Stacey and Kat worked on stall couldn't afford to live. Bulldoze the lot of it!

Why was Whitney looking at flats already? Surely part rent part buy need half the deposit they have nothing. She was never that thick she was always very much street wise.

My tv hasn't been recording properly so I have missed a few episodes but saw tonights. I was planning to catch up on the internet but can now think of better ways to spend my time.

Presumably there's an opening in the market for a flower stall now that Claudette and her Magnificent Bosom have flounced. Lee/Whitney/Stacey could have a crack at that, surely?

I think a lot of it is unrealistic Whit can't be that dim but obviously to EE bosses what do most young professional couples do get on housing ladder away from their parents and in trendy Stratford not.

I wonder how Roxy actually lives must be benefits though she did get rightly pissed off with Ronnie but mostly cos Honey and billy can't afford it I'd have been more pissed off re Ronnie taking over her own DDs party plans!

I don't think Whitney is stupid. But surely the pub can't be paying her that much so why wouldn't she try and get another job?! She worked before. I think they are just trying to portray her as someone who is quite needy due to experiencing lots of loss and trauma, so on that basis I think she does it quite well. She deserves to be happy!

Masood came back to pursue a relationship with Carmel but wasn't open about it and missed the boat.

I still like the carters. Think they need to give them another storyline though - but assume they will soon with Linda leaving.

In fact like someone else said it's all very boring. But I now wonder if there will be a few explosive storylines coming up. Did someone say that Max is back this year? So that's potential drama for Lauren Stacey and Abi? Then Linda leaving which I assume will be a big storyline as she is such a main character now, so can't really just slope off for several months.

So maybe they are going to hit us with lots of drama all at the same time?!
